simple in every way
The hotel is extremly basic, in every way. The vallet men were very sweet, but after i had to wait 5 hours to check in, i have nothing postive to say about the rest of the staff. I stayed for 8 days because the hotel had good location to the airport and where i needed to be. The hotel has over charged me, doubled charged me for movies, and the windows are NOT sound proff as advertised. ALSO, under heavy construction!!! The walls are so thin, you hear every word said, every hammer, plus parties were down stairs and it was impossible to sleep. No room service, the grill isnt open every day and only for certin hours. This is NOT a place for children. My flight home was delayed and i stayed overnight in Atlanta at a Comfort INN and was happier than i was with the Customs Hotel.

run down undergoing renovation
very dark and worn was undergoing renovation, checked in dropped off bags told valet we we wouild be back monentarily then would returnto take car back to rental place. next morning they wanted to charge us for a whole days parking. When we booked no one told us that it was under renovation. hvac was extremely loud and annoying. I would hold off on this one. Did not furnish us a receipt when we left, couldnt wait to argue had to catch a shuttle.

Just a normal hotel
We stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel ambiance was dull. Valet parking was only option with a fee. Not much of option for dining. Gym was close. Very few visitor seen. Housekeeping threw our tupperware lunch boxes without our knowledge. Did not get it back. Nothing complimentary at this Hotel.

Three day weekender
Good location but that's all it offers
Flew in to lax to meet up with a group in Santa Monica for the weekend. Arrived late Thursday and the valet was awesome. Checking in however was not. The staff was scattered arguing with someone aboutthe Hotel wifi on the phone and assisting someone in front of us checking in. Once to the counter they did not have my reservation and only after I was able to fish the itenerary off my iPhone from orbit were they able to start working on getting us checked in. Once to the room it was very dark, only two small light bulbs are used in a desk lamp and a floor lamp to light the entire room. It also smelled and luckily my wife had some kind of spray to handle that. Turned the heater on to get some circulation going and eventually the heater made a pretty loud continues hum that was pretty crazy to try to sleep through. This see saw ride lasted all three nights we were there starting out quiet and eventually becoming loud again. I would not recomend this hotel to anyone, unless, your not going to use the heater and you absoloutley have to have a location on Lincoln with easy in and out acess and are looking to save a few bucks. On the plus side the shower preasure was good and the valet service was fast and only $15 a night added to the room. There is no free parking or self parking at this hotel.

There is a ralphs grocery store right next door to the hotel open until 2am in case you forgot anything you may need you can pick it up in a very short walk around the corner of the hotel.

Excellent location, clean and well price
The hotel was undergoing renovations however the staff were very attentive and proactive. Room was clean and everything worked. Internet connection was excellent

I had a great stay... Love this place!
My experience at the Custom Hotel was wonderful!! I really enjoyed my stay. The layout in the room was nicely built, very clean and made me feel at home but in luxury.. The bathroom was big and fancy with marble sinks and floors. The only thumbs down was the hallway. It smelt like eggs.I hate the smell of eggs it was a rude awaking. The maids should've took care of that fast! Other than that, the information desk clerks were nice and made sure everything was okay with us. My friend and I had a great time at the Custom Hotel. I/we look for more times there. :) I say go for it if you want to stay in a luxury hotel by LAX approximately 25+ miles away from main attractions!!! I still think about my stay at the Custom Hotel everyday and I can't wait to go back..

Convenient !!
We were taking in the sites (disney, universal city, santa monica beach, hollywood, etc.) very convenient locaation ... friendly staff. They had postings of upcoming renovations ... some needed, dimly lit and small rooms ... but overall a great property. We were kind of disappointed that the bar listed was never opened.
