Super 8 Long Beach

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Even remembered me by name from my previous visit. Rooms are spacious with a refridgerator and TV with loads of channels. Very comfortable. Enjoyed the complimentary breakfast each morning. I will return!

Good enough to go back!! A great value and plan to send our employees back as they said their stay was really nice.

The room was fine. Clean. Bed and room were big, breakfast was plentiful and good. But if you're a light sleeper, this isn't the place for you. Very thin walls and if you're on the bottom floor, you WILL hear the people above you get up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. Stay on the second floor and it will be better. It was OK for me for one night and it's close to LB State. One other thing, I couldn't get the shower to stay at the same temperature.

I was told I could not wait in the lobby until check in. (My purse was stolen at the airport and I did not have cash or credit cards to be able to go anywhere, the room was already paid for) After checking in the mattresses were stained, pillows were balled together like they had been washed too many times, the ceiling was brown and stained, the bath tub had rust, the and room smelled like mildew. That evening I was harrasted by the night clerk (benny), he kept staring at me and my guest through the hotel lobby window in our swim suits, then he came down stating that my guest and I were too loud at the hot tub. That morning when, I complained to the manager he was rude and said, I was mistaken and his employee would never do that. When I asked him about the calls for noise, he stated that the hotel did not have any noise calls that night. The manager also asked me to leave the lobby,while the maid was cleaning. I was in the middle of printing an invoice out and he came over and shut down the internet when i asked for 5 more mins. I was treated disrespectfully and will never stay there again!

Staff very friendly, especially Manager. Extensive Continental Breakfast Menu amazing & all foods were fresh. Rooms were comfortable & clean. Could realize extra efforts inside & outside hotel to please customer. Only suggestion for improvement in quality of bedspread. Would recommend & return ourselves. Previously visited Super 8, Escondido, which was deplorable & awful.

wonderful experience and far better than anticipated. We thought this might be another budget fiasco where invariably something is disappointing or broken but our stay at this motel was excellent. Staff was helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous making every effort to ensure that we were well pleased with our stay. They succeeded.

The staff was friendly. The pool was a nice place to spend some time, though a bit noisy with the busy road next door. We appreciated the free breakfast. Our only disappointment was that the room had a Murphy Bed, which was a bit uncomfortable.

We have always enjoyed staying at this motel. It is located central to everything we do and the manager, Edwin, is top notch. However, on this trip the room was not up to our standard. Although a non-smoking room it had a cigarette smell and at various times it seemed we would get more of the smell than at other times. We tried to figure out where it was coming from -- outside or through a vent system? Never did? Fortunately, we did not spend much time there. We hope our next experience there will be better.
