Royal Inn Motel Long Beach

Sort of small ans outdated room. The only outlet that wasnt in use was the farthest outlet away from the bed. The tv is an older box tv. It had a fridge and a microwave clock. The shower was very warm. If you plan on staying at this hotel you should bring your own bath towel and pillow. Not somewhere that I would stay multiple nights. About 8 minutes away from Csulb.

Room was alright, cleaner than expected by the outside appearance. Located in a not so nice part of LGB though. I recommend staying in and locking Tue doors in the evening.

We are a Construction Co, that needs R&R and room for our trucks and trailers, we got the R&R but the trucks and trailers were told to wait outside the parking lot and that was no good. They let us take'um in anyway but I'm sure it didn't make the mgm't team happy!! Hope they like us, cuz were coming back for more!!!

Asked for non smoking got a smoking room. There was not enough parking for us so we had to park in a different area. Not a good area to be walking around in that is for sure. Staff was not interested what so ever. Felt as if I was wasting their time just by checking in! This was a last minute booking I should of just stayed somewhere else, would of rather paid more to stay else where.

Check-in desk told me they cannot rent the room and it is unavailable. I ask, can we have another room? She answers, "we don't have a replacement room for you. She then gives me the number to call Orbitz. Orbitz found me a replacement hotel that was better, and closer to my destination.

Continental breakfast equals bag of famous Amos cookies. No refunds.

I apologize for sounding hyperbolic, but this motel is unquestionably the worst motel I've ever stayed in. It's the kind of motel where somebody takes a prostitute, and/or somebody they plan on murdering. Here are a few details: *There is no housekeeping. We stayed there for 3 nights, and not once did anyone come in to make the bed or clean up. *The sign on the door read "Non-smoking," as we requested. Not only did the room smell heavily of smoke, but there was also an ashtray in the room. *The room was filthy, the pillows were slightly yellow (I can only guess why), and the sheets looked as if they hadn't been washed in quite some time. *There was only 1 towel in the bathroom, despite the fact that the room was used by 2 guests. *The bathtub was broken; by the time I was done with my shower, the water in the bathtub was almost up to my calf. *THERE WAS NO HOT WATER WHEN I TOOK A SHOWER. It's clear that the owners of this motel take no pride whatsoever in running the Royal Inn, because it's filthy, run-down, and disgusting. Stay far, far away from this motel.
