If you like a different sort of hotel experience, this is it.

Sleeping on a docked ship that is such a part of Long Beach for one night was fun. We got a great deal, but make sure you have low expectations for what it will really be like. We should have paid more for a room with a view, but for one night's sleep the room was fine. It was a long walk from the check-in desk to our room, but like I said, for one night it was fine.

Queen Mary

I really enjoyed my stay here. I felt like I was taken to another time. The quality of the woodwork and bathroom sink and shower was beautiful. The promanade bar was awesome and very romantic to listen to live music and take a walk around the deck. It also had its sense of spookiness to when you think about the history of the ship. I highly recommend everyone to stay it's worth the stay :)

Great Property, Great View

This was a great nostalgic visit to a hotel! It was like walking back in time on the ship. The bed was extremely comfortable. Although I would not recommend eating on board. The food is extremely overpriced and did not taste great. Although the waiting staff was superb for being on top of the customer's needs. Can't beat the deal!

Eat at KDB (Kitchen Den Bar) in Downtown. Great food and drinks for a good price. They have an arcade, sports bar and bowling all on site. If you stay at the Queen Mary, they offer a shuttle every 15 minutes to downtown!

Good stay

Front desk person was not very friendly upon check in. Housekeeping start very early and several times throughout the day would come to the room (even tho it was cleaned). That was annoying. Loved the old feel of the ship, great bars (affordable and had happy hour), room service was good. Parking was an issue!

Nice, Romantic Stay

We stayed at the hotel for 4 days and had a wonderful time. From the room, bars and restaurants etc, the stay was very nice. Only thing I would change is the parking. There is one lot close to the hotel with the valet parking lot next to it. There is an open lot that is not being used and if the Hotel Guest lot is full you have to park far away from the hotel. Internet service was not working and hard to get connections. But they were quick to get it resolved. I would definitely return and plan too.

Wonderful, Historic Ship.

Beautiful skyline and Marina view from our porthole window which opens up to give you fresh sea air. We were participating in a vintage show -perfect setting for event other than load-in load-out which was a bit difficult do to multi-story exhibit space with one small elevator. Friday night fireworks display over harbor was Fantastic!!!

Dont go to sleep....

Touring the ship was nice, and the rooms were nice. Until you try to go to sleep and it sounds like everyone from the next two rooms are in yours. There is NO sound barrier between the rooms. We could hear every word being said by the people in the other rooms. Also dont hope to get an affordable good meal. There are no restaurants except the ones on the ship. The waits to eat at them are crazy and they are expensive. You have to drive back over the bridge to find food. The parking is the same for hotel guest as for people there just for the tours. Unless you pay alot and valat your car. We had to carry our suitcases quite aways before we got to the hotel. I will not stay again, and I wont reccomend someone to stay without the earplugs they offer at the front desk...

Weekend Getaway

When my husband and I first got there, the a/c didn't work in our room. Unfortunately this was after we walked down the longest corridor ever! The maintenance crew said the a/c wasn't working in that end of the ship. So why would the staff give us another room in that same section 1 floor above? Of course the air didn't work and at this point my husband is ready to blow a gasket! He was calm though and finally we were given a room with air that worked, I guess the third time is a charm. Oh yes our Bellman was extremely helpful and kind.
