Fantastic couple getaway
My husband and I needed to get away for a weekend and fom the moment that we walked into the Hotel we can not complain. We were treated very good and we had a fantastic getaway.. We are now planning another but this time with our children.

Everything was at walking distances from the hotel didnt have to use our car at all.

Conference get away
Overall good trip, good room, friendly staff But no mini fridge to keep things cold?!? In a hotel of this caliber I was disappointed. But not enough to not go again. Also under renovation would have been nice to know about it but since I was not there during the day it did not affect me that much. Work hours were 8-6. If I would have been on vacation I would have been upset.

Hotel is nice and conveniently located in Long Beach. It would have been nice if Orbitz would have informed us that we wont get the Hyatt point for our stay.

Good for family getaways
We stayed for a night,bed was very to comfortable,location was good too. it had everything like starbucks,breakfast everything in one place and with a kid that was helpful.but the only thing missing was body soap so we had to use our child's soap.

the bed was hard, the food was so so but very expensive, breakfast was $25 for one person, the bathroom was out of date as was the furniture in the room. I can't believe they are serious about this Hotel. I have been to some of their other Hotels around the country and this one is way below par. The staff is good as is the location--get some decent beds and fix the motel bathrooms!

go to Belmont Shores for dinner --lots of choice and almost all good --park walk around and get a recommendation from a local on where to eat.

Hyatt Regency love it.
went to a nightclub nothing was missing was very enjoyable stores and shops on shoreline drive right across the street had parking issues with the hotel room card love the gondolla ride on the property.

An OK place to stay
Very few on site services. An OK place BUT, Nothing special. Views from upper floors were nice, but that's it.

6 AM Protests?
We chose the Hyatt because we had a great flight from Seattle to Long Beach on Jet Blue. Things were standard. We were sad that we were on the 1st floor but were ok until our last morning at 6 am we had to listen to over an hour of protesters. Then upon check out no one apologized or acknowledged that it happened!!
