While quite old the facility has been well maintained with rooms meeting all normal requirements. Good breakfast buffet, helpful staff and location near restaurants and shopping make this a good value. I stayed Jan. 2013 but your info date doesn't include 2013

One night stay
I believe the room looks a lot nicer on the internet than it really is. I guess you can't expect too much for that price. I was extremely impressed by how friendly and helpful the staff was.

Nice Place for short trip.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. I was able to check in 3 hours before check in time. Room was clean overall. Saw a cockroach and cricket in my room but other than that it was ok. My TV burned out after being on for 15 min.

Nice for the price
The Hotel location is good, close to a mall, the bus stops are just in front of it. My room was large, and had fridge, coffee machine. The hotel is a bit aged, but nothing to complain. The balcony view was not good, as it was looking over a parking lot and some roofs. But overall was good for the price, and 4 persons could stay at the room.

Close to Cal State Inuv - long Beach
Good location for visitng university at Long Beach. Also close to 2nd street shopping and coastline. Rooms were simple, clean and maybe a bit out-dated. Staff was very friendly.

Loco dude
Not what I expected for a 3 star hotel
Old hotel, room was musty. Staff offered to move us or deliver spray, the other room was just as bad. Room was clean, however the numerous layers of paint on the doors and trim made the room feel cheap. The entry to the room was terrible felt like I was standing in front of a storage yard opening a storage door. Will not be back. Rating should be "pushing 1+"

Perfect for us.
Our room was nice with a view of the pool and grounds. We liked the convenience of there being an onsite restaurant and breakfast was full of choices. There was no problem either when we added an extra night!

if in long beach see the Queen Mary..don't pay the $25 fee get the $15 restaurant voucher for the observation cafe and you can still see most of the ship
