I wish for a do-over

The front desk staff member I dealt with was interesting...that's the kindest way I can say it. I also didn't like the whole "Hi, welcome, do you want to upgrade to an oceanview room for an additional $129?" The rooms are old but cleanish, lots of stairs and ideal beachy location. Shoot for on the street parking rather than dealing with the valet situation.

2nd Year Anniversary

For our 2nd year anniversary, my wife and I decided to stay at Pacific Edge. I originally booked a normal room that faced PCH, but I told them it was our anniversary and they upgraded our room with an ocean view steps away from the beach, kitchen, and fireplace. On top of that, they even sent a bottle of wine and a friendly card wishing us a great anniversary! They even comped our Valet! Kim and Akiko were the awesome front desk workers who were so kind and generous to us. We would DEFINITELY stay here again! It was walking distance from Downtown Laguna and nearby all the yummy restaurants!

Wonderful

Everything about this hotel was wonderful except the parking. The only parking they have is valet and it's an extra charge of $24 per night. Staff was wonderful, the view was amazing and the area was friendly. We had a wonderful trip!

Beach Front Value

Can't beat the value for an ocean front and ocean view room! Stay in renovated part of hotel as rest is dated. The Deck restaurant overlooks the beach and hac the freshest oysters and bagel and lox! Stayed in nice newly renovated room but toilet seat was too small and felt awkward like you were going to fall off. There is no fitness center but enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Did not order room service, was $50 minimum from a restaurant across the street in a Holiday Inn. Hopefully they will use The Deck to arrange room service.

It's not what I expected

The hotel is located in a great area and it's on the beach but my room was facing the highway and the TV and the lamp on the night stand were not working the night we checked in. The furniture is dated and the bathroom did not look 100% clean. Next time I'll stay at a hotel that's close to the beach but not on the beach

Great family hotel

We only stayed 2 nights at the Pacific Edge Hotel, but wish we would have had time to stay longer! They are in a great location - nice beach, walking distance to everything (town, restaurants, grocery store), the staff is very friendly and helpful, and the rooms are spacious and clean. We have an 18 year old and a 15 year old and they loved it - pools, hot tub and great beach! We rented paddle boards one of the days and got a free lesson from one of the staff - FUN!
