Exquisite property!

We were warmly greeted and taken care of and it was especially nice since we had travelled 3000 miles to go to my nephew's wedding. The staff was very courteous and super friendly. We wanted for nothing and the atmosphere was so relaxing! We will definitely be staying there again and again and again!!

hidden fees

First off I want to say the hotel was beautiful! The landscape was so pretty all kinds of flowers everywhere. The only thing i have to say that is bad about this place is that it is a 100% valet hotel, so they charge you a $25 a night valet charge that they dont tell you about till you get there. So you get that charge plus each time you want to leave and come back you have to wait for your car then tip the parkers, it gets really expensive. this hotel is not for the traveler on a budget. So upon check out i had a bill of $160.00 just in fees alone! for a 4 night stay, i also forgot to mention they charged me $5.00 for a local call. So i would love to return to this hotel but i don't know if i could afford it, i recommend this hotel to people who have a lot of money to spend.

Disappointing

Because we got a great rate, the attitude of the staff was condescending. We requested a room change because we were put in the farthest end of the resort facing the parking lot and about 5 minutes from the front desk. At first we were told they'd accomodate us the next day. The next day they said they were still booked and to come back the next day and they would make a note to contact us as soon as a room was available. This never happened. Then a staff person stated he didn't see what he could do for us because we paid such a low rate!!! When we complained, they said a manager would contact us and that never happened either. They seem to be more attentive to the conference groups/attendees than to "regular" guests. The "sports" bar consisted of two very small tvs behind the bar and the food was too upscale for a sports bar. If getting a good rate equates to poor service and attitude then they shouldn't offer this hotel on this site.

Nice place but expensive parking

Nice hotel but you should warn people that there is a mandatory $25 a day valet charge. You cannot park you car by yourself. I was very upset to discover this as it cost me an additional $155.
