Fun over night
The Adobe Inn is a great little get away. Close to all things good in Carmel easy walk to shops and food. Stright shot to the beach out of the parking area. Easy on site under ground parking which is a must in Carmel! Friendly staff and cookies Too!

Walk to the beach but wear tennis shoes and carry flip flops. Good walk down and back.

Decent hotel in a good location in middle of Carmel near shops, restaurants, beach etc. The room with the king size bed was okay - the room for my daughter on first floor was rather depressing.

the hotel was in a perfect location... cute shops and great retaurants within short walking distance, ample comp parking, the staff was very friendly and courteous. a problem with the TV was taken care of within 15 minutes of reporting. would definitely book again.

Nice, a bit pricey, a little noisey. AM breakfast treats served to your room which was nice Room was nice, fireplace..

Rooms were large & comfortable, with underground parking, always a plus in Carmel, & a short walk to downtown.

Avoid "The French Poodle" on 5th. & Junipero. Food was "tasteless" & not properly prepared; Duck Breast was served well done. Even the Escargots were bland, a first for me. In fairness, the service was excellent, however that doesn't make up for the kitchen. Much better choices around town.

The Adobe Inn Carmel totally exceeded
The Adobe Inn Carmel totally exceeded our expectations. The room was well decorated and very spacious. The staff were very friendly and agreed to let us have a later check out time when we requested for it. They had agreed to provide a complimentary breakfast at the time of booking and because we were running a race, and we needed the breakfast before it is usually served, the staff made the extra effort to bring our breakfast up to our room on a tray the night before so that we could eat it before we ran the race.
