With its dancing colored fountains and perfect palms, the Hilton Anaheim is practically part of the nearby Disney resorts, looks-wise, but set far enough apart to enjoy relative piece from all the excitement and associated noise. Relax with a soak in the adults-only indoor pool and hot tub, or take a spinning class during your stay-childcare is available for visiting families. Mix lounge offers a cool cocktail hangout in the atrium, with its chic contemporary fountains and glowing bar, while there's everything from sushi to Starbucks Coffee served on-site.

Neighborhood
Found just off West Katella or 'Disney' Avenue, you can walk to Disneyland in about 15 minutes from the Hilton Anaheim, but a shuttle pass is available for families with small children or any disabilities. The hotel's location is also convenient for Knott's Berry Farm amusement park to the north, the Discovery Science Center and Newport Beach. You can purchase souvenirs and enjoy a show from Cirque de Soleil at Downtown Disney or take a more chilled-out approach to shopping at the Anaheim Garden Walk, both down the road from the main California Adventure Park.
Hints and tips
Not just for Disney fans, the Hilton Anaheim is also close to the Anaheim Convention Center, and has extensive meeting spaces and booking tools.

If you're here on a business stay and want to avoid pricey Disney meals at lunchtime, visit local stores like Kmart on Katella Avenue and Target on Harbor Boulevard and DIY your daytime eats.

Nice hotel but not the greatest hilton.

It was a nice stay but they had no complimentary coffee, wifi or breakfast and to top it all off, if you have kids and or a lot of luggage, it is a hassle to park and get to your room. Parking is not free and it is very crowded being that it is right next to the Anaheim Convention Center.

Great Rate for Location

The hotel was clean, and the bed was very comfy. Being that our trip was to go to Disneyland, this was a great value for the location. Saved money on cab rides since Disneyland and California Adventure is only a 20 minute walk. There are lots of restaurants to choose from, all within walking distance (Bubba Gump Shrimp, Bucca di Beppo). If you have a room facing the park, you can see the fireworks each night which is really nice. There is also an outdoor and indoor pool, as well as two outdoor hot tubs. Dislikes: - The hotel bar was sub-par, and one of the bartenders working one night was rude. - The pool bar was never open during my 4-day stay, even though there were signs showing the hours in which they should have been opened. - Thin walls Overall, I would stay here again.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

There is this great Mexican restaurant located on Orangewood Ave called "Mi Casa Mexicana". It is only about a 10 minute walk from the hotel, and the food is great, and cheap! Highly recommend checking this hole in the wall. :)

good location

It's a good hotel, near Disneyland, good quality room, good service, good in room food options. Place is a solid B Overall, little things could make it better, and for the higher price you pay compared to other locations around, those little things can add up. Friendliness can go a long way (staff should remember that).

Business Trip

I have stayed here before for a convention. I am usually very comfortable. This last time the hotel was under renovation and most of the lobby and all of the lobby bar was boarded up. Just wasn't a good look for a 4 star hotel. I would stay here again after the renovation is done. I did get an opportunity to enjoy the pool this time.

Big hotel that seems just massive...

I had to be Anaheim for work and chose the Hilton. There was a music conference going on and the front desk kindly moved me up to a higher floor so the music would not be so loud. Room was clean and service very friendly, but somehow a massive hotel was made to feel only more massive. A xerox of the map was available at the desk but printed so small it was still hard to read. Waited on average 5 to 10 minutes for elevators and was never able to get a coffee at starbucks as it kept breaking down and the lines were so long.
