Ok hotel

The hotel is a plain room with beds in it. I would not stay here again because there are much nicer rooms. The only really nice thing is the location.

great bang for ur buck!

Great location. Awesome breakfast. Excellent service. Occasionally noisy in the lobby area, but that's expected with kids. Not a great place for couples. More family oriented. Rooms are older, but each have microwaves and refrigerators. I didn't like that they don't have flat screen tv's.

Great location for the price

The room is pretty clean, and beds a little firm. They have been updated since the pictures we saw on the website. The breakfast was hot, but after 7 days of the same thing, you want something else. The plus side, you can eat all you want. The walk was only 10 minutes from the park entrances, and you have a 7-11 and ABC store right next door on the corner. You can see the back of the new Cars (radiator springs) area they are building in California Adventure, due to open next year.

It's a place to sleep

I liked the refrigerator and microwave in the room. Breakfast was not very impressive. The bed was very comfortable! I would try to stay closer to Disneyland and not worry about free breakfast.

Building memories

The trip was excellent. The motel Staff was friendly and helpful, my daughter enjoyed the pool and Disneyland was a dream come true. The Motel was conveniently located and it was nice to have a store next door as well as a wide range of eating options less than a block away. Finally the motel cleaning staff always made our room fresh and clean each day. It was nice to come back to a clean room after being out all day. I would however like to suggest that "to go boxes" be provided at the breakfast for us who don't like to be so crowded at breakfast and would prefer to eat in our room. The only negative thing I could comment on was the bad smell when you got off the elevator on the 4th floor. Smelt pretty foul.

Great Hotel

Booked this hotel with a 30% off sale [...]. It was a great hotel, very nice and good customer service! Some not so great things were that [...] said a breakfast buffet had ham or bacon. This place only has sausage, which my husband hates. Another thing is we would take nap in the heat of the day, and the maids have these LOUD carts they push through the halls that woke me up every ten minutes. If you don't mind those things this is a great hotel to go to Disneyland.

It was ok...yes, JUST ok.

Not quite what we expected. It was a suite with a total of 4 beds. We thought there would be a central "living/lounging" type area, but no. There were two complete bathrooms, which was wonderful. However, we could not get the water temperature to be ok. It was either too hot or too cold no matter what we did. I thought maybe I was just not very smart, but other adults said they had trouble with it, too. There was absolutely no place to park when we came back from Disneyland the first night. We walked to Disneyland every day after that. The gift shop was great! The people there were super-nice and the prices on things were relatively reasonable (comparing to Disneyland prices). The breakfast was so-so, but it was free, so I guess I shouldn't expect too much.

Time-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

Walk to Disneyland. It's about the same amount of walking you'll do if you park in Mickey and Friends parking, and you don't have to worry about where to park when you get back to the hotel.

Excellent location....horrible breakfast

We used this as a base hotel while we did several things in Anaheim. We loved Legoland and a quick drive on the 405 (after 9:30 and after 5:30). Traffic is ridiculous but just plan your day to start a little later. The pool was great and good that it was heated. We had dirty sheets on the sofabed upon check-in but they brought clean ones right away. Although free the breakfast was powdered eggs and greasy sausage with low-grade other stuff. We ate their only once and bought cereal and milk. Parking is free and we never had a hard time finding a place, safe in the room for $1.00/day which we did use. NO DVD PLAYER or VCR!!!! Not much for kids to watch on cable. Resort fee of $8.00/day so be aware....this is not a resort however. Probably won't stay again.

Desert Palms

Hotel was clean and friendly. Pool was only drawback as it was not in full sun due to its location in the center. We were very pleased overall and would stay here again. Location is excellent.
