Great place to stay near Disneyland

We stayed at the hotel for one night on a weekend trip to Disneyland. We were able to register early and park the car at the hotel (there is a parking fee) and walk about 15 minutes to the park. Our room was in the Carmel area of the hotel so it was quiet and we got a very nice sleep. By boyfriend's only complaint was that the TV in our room was old, but I didn't mind since we didn't make the trip to watch TV. We didn't have a chance to enjoy the pool or fitness center but they both looked clean and up-to-date.

Good Hotel

My family and I were treated very nice by the hotel staff. The hotel is close enough to Disneyland and Downtown Disney. If you're walking with small children though, you should use transportation instead. Good hotel overall. Beds are comfortable and the showers work well.

Excellent hotel for my convention travels

I have seen this hotel over the years of attending conventions at the Anaheim Convention Center but opted for what I thought was a better stay at the "bigger hotels" ... I was wrong this is the better stay for sure.

Disappointed!!

We found the hotel on line while looking for a hotel near Disneyland and the pictures and descriptions sounded very good. The reality was that we were put in a room right next to the ice machine that people used all night, and around 7 am, someone was filling multiple coolers and it sounded like someone was shoveling a snow bank that lasted for an hour. The shower made a grinding sound when we tried to use it that vibrated the entire wall, and the water only trickled out. The sounds from the room next to us were so loud that we only slept minimally after 1 am. I would advise anyone to read, very carefully, the comments from other guests. I should have paid more attention. This was NOT a good experience!

Nice but a hassle!

I want to start out by saying the room was nice and the location from Disneyland is ideal. Now for the issues, the walls are too thin, you hear every loud noise in the hallways and other rooms. BEWARE to not leave your with any baggage in it. We left our room (2day stay), the first day we went out sight seeing, came back later that night to find out that one of our rooms had been rented out even after we had paid for the two night stay in advance. Just be the maid staff saw no luggage, they assumed to let front desk to check us out automatically. Turned it the staff manger said it was normal for express check out purposes. He did make up a little for the hassle by charging us a discounted rate for one extra night stay we requested. But staff needs to make sure to add notes after talking to clients, as we went in next morning to pay, as they tried to make us pay full price for the upgraded room for the inconvience. Make sure they have your contact number as they stated we had none on file when they gave up one of our rooms. Also they charge 14 a night for parking, ridiculous for the price you pay for the rooms. Overall i was somewhat satisified with the stay, but probably will try another hotel next we are down near Disneyland.

Great Disney Vacation Hotel

Great location. Close to transit shuttles and family dining. Not enough front desk staff, but helpful when you can talk to someone. Booked through 3rd party but didn't receive room that I booked. Was told that 3rd party reservations aren't always honored. :( Room was clean and comfortable. Maids were awesome. Pool was gorgeous. Overall a great hotel and would stay there again.

DON'T TAKE THE DISNEYLAND EXPRESS. GRAB A SHUTTLE VAN OR TAXI. YOU WON'T BE SORRY.

Across the street from Disneyland

We had booked a Casita Suite and when we arrived the front desk attendant said she had a room with two double beds thinking we wanted larger beds. We went to see the room and thought it was too small for us so we asked for a larger room. She booked us in a handicapped room that had a king bed with a day bed and it was very roomy and beautiful. I was impressed that they were so accomadating and friendly. The entire hotel is landscaped so beautifully. We got to enjoy tanning and swimming in the adult pool, getting a mani/pedi and hanging out at the bar for cocktails. It's all in walking distance to restaurants and Disneyland. The only problems were that we had a family upstairs from us that were very noisey and the restaurant/bar staff seemed a bit disorganized and slow with our orders. Otherwise, I would receommend this place in a heartbeat!
