Close to Disney, good for families

Overall, I recommend the Annabella hotel. Best feature is we were walking distance to Disneyland. We had a large party of 4 adults and a toddler and our Premier King-Double room was adequate size. The pool and restaurant were both very nice. AJ at the bar is very talented, and my husband had the best Bloody Mary of his life with bacon, stuffed olives, and other garnishes. Cons were that we had to move rooms due to a toilet issue, but the management was very accommodating and helpful. We also had a cockroach in our room one night. Parking was $15 extra/day. Given the large rooms, nice amenities, and proximity to Disneyland, I would stay there again.

Anabella Stay - Casita Suite

The Hotel has clearly seen better days, in our room the wallpaper was pealing and there were minimal lights/switches. None of the outlets were strong either, plugs actually fell out of them! However the room set up was fantastic for our family of three, our son had his own room which was wonderful. The bed was comfortable. Management staff was fine, but housekeeping kept odd hours, usually cleaning when we were trying to nap (2 -4 pm) which impacted our stay. The last day we were there, they knocked on the door at 8 am asking if we were checking out! We'd stay again though, for the seperate room for our son and the walking to the park convenience.

It was ok

I didn't explore much of the hotel other than the bar and the room. I liked the fact that the room had hardwood floors. A lot cleaner than hotels with Carpet in my opinion. Variety of Drinks and food at the Bar. If you are going to Disneyland you can buy all your tickets at the front desk. You have to pay for parking so that is pretty dumb.

Great Vidcon weekend

The hotel staff were very accommodating. The room location was perfect (first floor near Katella where my kids and I were able to easily walk to the Anaheim Convention Center for Vidcon). We were all able to connect to the free wifi without any issues. The hotel provided free kids coupons for their restaurant, the Tangerine Grill and Patio, but we did not get the chance to dine there -- maybe next time. The beds were nice and comfortable, and the room was pretty spacious for having two queen beds. There was a fridge but no microwave which would have been useful. Really cute hotel that's conveniently located near the convention center and Disneyland. Highly recommended.

A nice stay for our family

The hotel was very nice. Our room, 3205, was very spacious. Our two boys, 3&5, stayed in the double bed, which was nicely segregated from our king bed. There was also a sleeper sofa at the foot of our bed. It was nice to have down time watching tv on a couch, instead of laying in the bed. While booking, they said this was a 4 star hotel, but I'd say 3.5 stars. (I.e. Popcorn ceilings, etc.)

Sightseeing tip: Short drive from hotel

The drive to downtown Disney would be short and the walk their is about 15mins or so. If you have your tickets to DL, you can hop on the monorail.

Anabella not so swella

Location is great. Near convention center and Disney. Rooms are clean BUT it felt like you could go through the floor any minute. Pulled out the "sofa bed" and there were wrappers in it. I say "bed" because it was more like a "spring". It was so uncomfortable. Plus no rollaways. Needed to do laundry but NO ONE in the entire hotel could give us change- 11 pm we had to walk to 7-11. Brochure says "quiet pool" open at 7am - NOPE locked until 8am. None of the front desk people wanted to hear our complaints.

Disney Vacation

It does the job. It is close to Disney parks within 20-25 minutes, but the I think the price was more than what I would expect for a hotel like this and there is also parking fee that is additional

Unplanned trip

We didn't have enough time to plan our trip, so we just looked for what was available, the price was good and the rooms looked nice so we booked, when we got there we were surprised , we had an event at the convention center and we wanted to go to Disneyland, the hotel was within walking distance of both venues great!!!. the location was the only good thing. now the bad, the room was old and outdated was different and smaller than the pictures showed , ac unit was noisy and would not cool down the room even tough it was mid 80's outside, we had many electronics that we couldn't charge because most of the outlets didn't work, the tvs were old and small and the picture quality was horrible, no microwave, the bathroom looked like it had been recently remodeled but the tub clogged after the first use, the blinds would not close completely, to much noise coming from outside, the ice machine close to our room didn't work so I had to walk to the other side of the building every time we needed ice, no breakfast included, $15 parking per day plus taxes?. we only ate once at the tangerine and that was enough, I have to mention that the last two times we stayed at the Sheraton so I was expecting a little bit more for $165 a night. I guess if you are just looking for a place to sleep and the Anabella it's ok but if you like to spend time and enjoy the hotel look elsewhere I know the Anabella has many different rooms and suites, we stayed at the "casitas suites". I read many reviews and from my personal experience this is not even a 3 star hotel of course everybody has different standards, needs and opinions.

Was expecting a little more

I stayed in a Casita room for 2 nights. The room was nothing special - just an old motel room trumped up to be something more than just that. The towels were like sandpaper - ouch! However, I did like the pool and afternoon BBQ they had set up.

perfect location!

I had stayed here for 2 days/one night and spent most of the days at the disney parks. The location was perfect for disney-goers because its just a nice short walk away (: there is also a coco's right across the street which is helpful if you want to get a hefty meal in before you hit the parks!
