Hotel Tucson Inn Suites

Prom night for my daughter this was the perfect location so she didn't have to drive home late. Staff was excellent and went out of their way to accommodate me and my family. Breakfast was good, nice pool and the grounds were nice, grass.... yes its older but nice and right off the freeway. Plan to do another staycation this summer!!

If you are not interested in spending time at the pool then don't stay here - rooms are ok - had a small issue with the toilette - but was promptly fixed - but really if you are bit picky or snobby than this is not the hotel for you...however if you are just there for a day or two and are bit more rock n roll then this place serves it it up fine - POOL is GREAT - GREAT Happy Hour prices and Buffet needs some menu help - but there is an awesome Mexican-American women that works there that will make your day!!!!

From the moment I checked in with the staff I was glad I chose this hotel. Even though I requested rooms next to each other and they were not, the desk gal and manager went out of their way to accommodate me....even giving an upgraded room at same price. Social hour nice, hot breakfast was good. Nice place and would recommend to anyone.

The service was good, but the hotel room was run down and not sure if the room had been cleaned prior to us arriving. It was just not what I thought but since I have stayed in worse and it was convient to the area I need to be at early in the morning I endure the atmosphere.

1- It took 1h 10min and 2 phone calls for the hotel shuttle to get to the Tucson Int. airport (only 30 min.away, and on a Sunday afternoon with no traffic!) to pick me up. 2- The staff was in extreme distress due to the famous mineral show next door and their high occupancy. 3- They gave me a room that smelled like a fast food chain kitchen (strong fried foods odor), also very noisy from the nearby freeway. I called the front desk to try switching rooms and was told I would have to come down to speak with the manager. I did and was informed the manager was busy at the moment, although I could see him trying to fix some appliance behind the reception area. 4- I was given another room. The carpet was not vacuumed and had food crumbs and heavy dark stains all over. The TV did not work. The room was still noisy from the freeway nearby but the AC fan helped muffling it. 5- The positives: the bed was comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was good with very pleasant staff attending to it. 6- I am a frequent World traveler and this is my 1st time giving a less than ideal hotel review.

My reservation was for a late arrival. I was told that since our flight would not arrive until midnight all I needed to do was to call the motel for shuttle service. I was told it would take thirty to forty minuted for the shuttle bus to arrive. When we got to Tucson, I called for the shuttle service and was told the shuttle does not operate after 10:00p.m. We wound up having to take a cab. If I were told before hand that the shuttle would not be available, I would have chosen a motel closer to the airport. A lot of work needs to be done at this location for it to be a 3 star facility. The carpet is badly worn and stained. There are very few electrical outlets in the room, hardly enough for the appliances. I had to unplug a lamp in order to plug in my computer.

We were switched from a cabana room that was bug infested to a perfectly acceptable tower room.

The place was busy but it was not to out of control. Staff were very helpfull and the room was nice for the size and the King size bed was very comfy. If I had been staying for more than a night I would have liked to use the other features of the room to maybe cook dinner. The lounge/ bar were pretty good too, again crouded but it was a Friday anyways. Food from the place was pretty good. Could have had a better cut on the NY strip that I had but flavor was good. All around a good stay.

it was fine for the price. Nice olympic size pool. Terrible "not made to order" breakfast.
