Perfect game day getaway.

If you are heading to a ball game at the University, there is no better hotel. All the amenities you could want and just blocks from the football stadium and basketball arena.

1702 is a great local pizza and beer joint just a couple blocks away. Pizza isn't quite Magpie's (what is?), but it is tasty. Tons of beer choices, including several local brews.

Just OK, but I won't be back.

Not ideal for the business traveler. Internet service is poor. I had trouble maintaining a Skype call. No dressers. There are some shelves in a closet you can use if you are tall. I had to continually ask for a liner for the ice bucket. Didn't like the elevators. There are musty, dark and illuminated by blacklights; the blacklights are cool if you are 12 years old, not 58. Outdoor pool is quite small.

Ok for a quick trip

If you´re in town for shopping or business, this hotel is for you,. It has a great location, the bus stop is right in front of the hotel main door and has a lot of parking space if you arrive in one. I prefere to look for in town good food spots for every meal, but the hotel solves it if you are in a hurry or don´t mind just grabbing something for the road. I´m enjoy and have high cleanliness standards, so in this particular matter they could do so much better, but nothing to be scared of. It is a great price-value spot.

If you enjoy seafood, you just can´t miss the oysters/clams at Kingfishers. The venue is horrible and you don´t give a dime for it from the outside, but the food is outstanding. Also try the shrimps from the entrees, you´ll love them.

NEXT TO U of A

I never write reviews but this was a great hotel. I was there to visit U of A and this is directly across the street. The room was great. More modern than I like but very nice. They have a trendy bar/restaurant in the lobby I did not eat at, but the other guests seemed to be down there at all times during the day. The staff was very nice and professional. They called cabs for me while I was there and also gave recommendations for local places to eat/visit. All of that and only cost $83/ night. If I come back to Tucson, AZ I will be staying here again.
