Awesome place

The room was nice. It's away from the center of the town which we liked less than a 10 minute drive and you're right in the middle of all the action. The pools are great. Little BBQ area close to the room was nice too.

Quite weekend in the mountains

This resort has great amenities and an awesome locations facing the mountains. Our suit was spacious and felt like home. The staff was very courteous, friendly and helpful. The resort is very close to shopping, dining and various hiking trails. I would recommend staying there, and am looking forward to our next visit to the area.

Great couples getaway

We really enjoyed everything about our stay, except our view. (We had none) The studio we stayed in was down stairs with the view from the patio a retaining wall. Other than that it was great. Nice, clean, well kept. The location was within easy driving distance of everything. (shopping, dining, hiking trails)

Be sure to take in at least some of the hiking trails and enjoy the beauty of God's creation. Then relax in the hot tub to soothe sore muscles.

Our Junior Suite needed refreshing!

Maybe because we didn't book directly through the hotel's website, and maybe because we were only staying one night, but somehow we just didn't feel as though we received the best available accommodations. Everything in our room needed to be updated. Even the black electrical tape holding the TV remote together, had lost it's hold! Come on, first impressions go a long ways! The bathroom screamed 1983, so hopefully it's in the que for a remodel. Lastly, 10 AM seems a little early for check out, and when someone knocks on your door at 9:50 asking when you're leaving, you don't exactly feel appreciated. Because we checked in at 4:15 PM and left at 10 AM, the $12 resort fee really was a waste. We didn't have time to use any of the 4 (maybe 6) pools, but I suppose that's our fault. The good news was, I was using $21 in ttavel bucks, so it eased the pain! We're not sure we'd stay at the Sedona Summit again. Although the timeshare pitch wasn't too aggressive, it still couldn't be avoided. One other complaint was the screaming couple and their 2+ kids next to us. Better insulation would help when they remodel Bldg 4. Some of the other sections looked newer, but I'm not for sure. The good news is, the check in guy was super pleasant! However, he seemed so ready to inform us that would were going to receive an email invitation to review the property after our stay, we fully expected a higher quality experience! It was just OK.
