Nice Getaway

My boyfriend and I went to Sedona on our first getaway together. We wanted something very low key, relaxing but fun and we got exactly that. The hotel staff was extremely helpful in giving suggestions on what to do. The hotel was very nice and cozy. The only thing I felt uncomfortable with was we stayed in a studio that was conjoined to another room/unit by a single door. To me this lacked privacy as we could hear the other guests conversations/arguments. It also made me feel as if we couldn't fully let loose and enjoy our romantic getaway with only a door separating us. In addition the hours of operation of the pool didn't concur with a younger crowd. Aside from those items the hotel grounds were well kept and the staff was extremely nice. I would stay again but may look into the one bedroom suite to avoid the lack of privacy.

Very Nice

A spacious, family-friendly hotel. Wonderful views, nice service, and the room was my favorite part. I wish there was a better eat-in restaurant option at the hotel, but there are many lovely restaurants close by!

Solo relaxing trip

Hotel was very nice! Need a car to get to places. Nice pools and views! Staff could be a little friendlier and no hotel bar or restaurants attached.

Very good value if you get a special price

Cute little condo with nice furnishings and pretty landscaping. Very small, only queen size bed, but full kitchen and very large bathroom. Try to book upstairs rooms. Timeshare, but just tell the "conceriege" you're not interested and walk away before they have time to "hook" you. Really nice setup for the $107 per night that we paid.

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

If you are gluten free, try Picazzo's Pizza on same highway as the hotel. We've only eaten the pizza and salads, but they are very, very good for gluten free.. GF beer also available. L'Aburgere in Uptown has a charming dining room and creekside tables in good weather, but pretty expensive.

An excellent location for a getaway.

The hotel is beautifully located in the town of Sedona, a natural beauty surrounded by spectacular red colored mountains and canyons. I would encourage anyone who is interested in enjoying nature at it's best. The hotel was neat and the staffs were pleasant. The only thing I did not appreciated was the fact my room was not ready when I arrived.

Classy, relaxing getaway

We stayed in a standard room that had everything you could possible need: refrig, stove, silverware, DVD, etc.It was a classy, comfy, clean room that was very inviting. The Sedona Summit resort is in a quiet, beautiful area, just a short drive away from downtown. Our dinner experience at Dahl and Diluca was very enjoyable!

Great Place, Bad Idea

I liked the resort but, they were more interested in setting up a time when they could sell us some rooms. Other people we saw there also said they were pressured to talk and buy into the "hotel". This shouldn't happen. When we were checking in they wouldnt let us leave without setting up a time when they could talk to us again!

studio had it all

Our compact studio was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed both the pool and the jacuzzi. Wonderful location with the majestic mountains as a backdrop. Wifi in the lobby was also much appreciated. Just a bit out off the main drag which could be seen as either a plus or a minus.
