It was very quite and clean. We drove up to all the shops and restaurants. We had the best BBQ at The Cowboy Club. Then we had breakfast at the Blue Moon soooo good. All the portions are huge so becareful....loved it.

Weekend getaway
Great stay for the price. Good location 5 miles S of Sedona but plenty of shopping and food nearby. Breakfast is what you would expect but again good for the price. Room was clean, bed was comfortable.

Learn to knock
The room was clean, the bed comfortable, but when we checked in the staff were not very friendly, she just handed me the key and directions and went back to her computer, I had to ask her was there anything else.We had our DO NOT DISTURB sign hanging on the door and my husband and myself were napping before check out and the maid decided to walk in our room without knocking, it was close to check out but we were not late, it clearly stated check out was noon and it was only 11:00. We did not appreciate this and we are very upset about it. This was our first experience at La Quinta and it will be our last!!

Outside Sedona
Saved money staying outside Sedona, but this is a very dated property that really needs new carpet and makeover. Only 5 miles south but posted speed limit is mostly 35 mph.

Good for a night
Definitely not a 5 start hotel, but it's great to spend a night, clean room, nice comfortable king bed.

Clean rooms, good price
This is the second time we have stayed in this hotel. Both times it has been clean. We enjoy having non-carpeted floors and no extra fees for bringing our two small, older chihuahua mixes. There is also a small dog area so they can relieve themselves which is convenient. We were disappointed that the second room me stayed in lacked a microwave and fridge. Otherwise, a great stay, competitively priced and would highly recommend for the Village of Oak Creek area.

Short walk from hotel
The pizza shop next door has great pizza and a good beer selection. Small indoor seating area so a little nicer in the warmer weather when you can sit outside. The Blue Moon Cafe has ok food like burgers and if you ask the staff at the hotel they will give you a card for 10% off.
