Scottsdale Hotel
They assign the most undesirable rooms for the listed low prices. It is misleading promotions.

Great Rate for a Nice Resort (w/surprise
There only a short time but a beautiful old resort, redown 5 years ago. Very modern, but nice. Fitness facility was cluttered. Not happy about the $16 resort fee added, but I didn't have to pay extra to use the fitness center. The A/C system struggled a bit to keep up.

Worst Hotel of the Year
Wow 5 Things I hated!
Well to put it simply I was nickeled and dimed to death. It started with a 16 dollar per day resort fee for access to a coffee bar and a newspaper. I never got the newspapers either night I stayed there and Coffee was available in the room. THE ROOM smelled like mildew I believe it was because we were across from the air conditioner. We had Sunday Brunch there and to say the least it was not a good experience. We arrived without a reservation and with the whole restaurant empty they made us wait fifteen minutes. I was not impressed by the choices and to boot they charged 40 dollars a head. To add insult to injury they charged an additional 21% service fee.... I got up to get my own food and they charge 21% for pouring drinks. To say the least I will not be staying at this dump again. Don't let the pretty pictures fool you, even if you have the money to waste waste it elsewhere.

This was our second stay at the resort celebrating our anniversary. We loved relaxing by the pool, drinks at the pool cabana and the bbq lunch prepared by the pool each day. The Sangria bar was nice for relaxing and playing pool in the evening. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.

Pretty resort, but. hidden fees
On check in we were told there would be an additional $16.00 a day fee for resort amenitiies. They said it was in the fine print. It certainly wasn't on our reservation print out. We didn't use any of the amenities, tennis etc. and thought this was all very dishonest.

Loved it!
The Scottsdale Resort was absolutely lovely. and nestled in a quiet area of town. The room was beautifly furnished and the beds were very comfortable. The marble bathroom had an outside dressing area with a sink and lighed make-up mirror which was very convenient for us. We invited our family in town to the Sunday brunch, which was outstanding. We visited during the holiday season and the 2 story tall Christmas tree was gorgeous as well as the window with penguins in a snow scene. Absolutely charming! I want to go back!!!

My review of Scottsdale Resort
The Scottsdale Resort & Conference Center was very satisfactory. I traveled alone and just for pleasure. The room was spacious, very clean and well appointed. The towels were exceptional quality, there were robes for the guests. The dining choices were very good. Dining in one of the two restaurants was excellent. Food could be ordered at the bar in the lounge as well. All staff that I dealt with were extremely professional, courteous and helpful.
