La Quinta Inn & Suites Phoenix Scottsdale

Arrived at midnight so we were tired. Two rooms with clean liner and clean room found. Left early so a nice quick clean nights sleep for business. Coffee for breakfast less than good. go on down to starbucks for some joe....

Compared to the other hotels in the area this was a great value for money spent. Two minor criticisms - Bathroom door had no lock on it and main light switch also controlled the electric outlet at the desk so when you turn off the lights the desk outlet turns off and you can't use / charge your laptop, iphone, etc.

very nice place to stay .I would recommend the hotel and will stay there again . Very convenient location .

I have to say that when I drove up to the La Quinta I was a bit worried. It backs up against the freeway. However, I was very happily surprised at how much it had to offer. It was very quiet, rooms were large and beds were comfortable. The bathroom a bit dated, but very clean. Free breakfast in the am... very good. The pool and hot tub... very clean and nice. Staff was great.. I am a bit of a fuss budget and I have to say I thought this was a very good deal for the money!!

We had no ac for two nights. The desk did not seem concerned and then they finally moved us to another room. The air conditioner technician was most helpful. We did get a "free' night within certain dates but we lost two nights of comfort.

Everything is so spread out in the Phoenix area that anywhere you stay on the usual sightseeing trip is going to be 15 -- 30 minutes from anywhere you want to go. La Quinta is adjacent to the A101 entrance at Shea, so it's easy to get places. It's across street from a large strip mall and walking distance to at least four restaurants. Parking and wifi are free. There's a guest laundry, free breakfast (basic -- but you can make real waffles), small gym, and the requisite pool. Rooms are clean and staff is helpful.

Customer service is horrible! They only had smoking rooms, and they would not work with me to get a refund or move to another hotel. I will never stay here again.

It's a nice hotel, and can be a good value for the money. Very friendly staff and rooms are immaculate, even if soundproofing isn't perfect. Many cost-cutting design features but not affect a restful staff and the hotel does have everything a traveler needs. Location is off a freeway about 5 miles north of downtown Scottsdale. Overall, this place gets a good, solid B+.

At registration, the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, and had good internet access. The location is convenient and just off the 101 providing easy access to points of interest. The breakfast (although not a full breakfast) was attractive and fresh. Personally don't care for the one cup coffee pots, but I know many prefer them. Overall, a very good experience.

My husband and I did enjoy our stay here. It was clean and friendly. If i had to make a change, that would be the separation of fan and bathroom switches. It is too noisy when one is sleeping to just turn on the light in the bathroom without the fan also going on. Please remedy that and the stay would then be perfect. I always stay at La Quinta hotels whenever i am in another state away from home. Thank-You.
