A great hotel for sports fans and so much more! The Red Roof Inn Phoenix West is 100 percent smoke free and conveniently located just off of I-10, 7 miles west of Downtown Phoenix. Centrally situated, this inn provides easy access to four major league teams: Arizona Diamondback at Chase Field, Phoenix Suns at US Airways Arena, Arizona Cardinals at University of Phoenix Stadium, and Phoenix Coyotes at Jobing.com Arena. Spring training is not forgotten either! Within 2 miles of Maryvale Sports Park and 9 miles of Camelback Ranch, baseball fans can find reasonable and clean accommodations at the end of a day of fun. If you prefer the fast track, NASCARs Phoenix International Raceway (PIR) is less than 14 miles away. With only two major races a year, make sure you book your rooms now! Not a sports fan or looking for a change of pace during your stay? Numerous entertainment venues are available within mere miles. Ashley Furniture Homestore Pavilion is 3.5 miles and provides ample concert opportunities for all tastes. Almost good enough

Close to fwy. Staff nice. Room average size and comfort. Needed more soap and towels. Found hair in shower and on towels. Beds were fairly sloppy because we didn't ask for full service clean up.

bare bones

bare bones hotel, not coffee in room, no haridryer in room, no breakfast. Just a bare bones hotel room, that is clean. Location is fine. close to ballparks etc

good location

This hotel is in a good location for many Phoenix area attractions. Hotel was clean and the staff friendly. however, on our second day, the housekeeper neglected to clean our room. We left at 10 in the morning and came back at 11 at night, only to find it not made. Staff gave us fresh towels and an apology. The thing that would really set this place off, is if they offered a free breakfast. However, they do have free coffee. Bottom line, I would return if I needed the same as this year.

Dirty WASHCLOTH

There were a number of things wrong with this experience. Most notably were the dirty washcloth from a previous guest in the bathroom, the disgusting pool & small children running & dancing around it, the rude desk clerk Amanda, and the lack of bath towels that we had to scavenge for more.

Good basic stay for ball game and concert outings

The staff was friendly, cordial and helpful, and the room was comfortable for the most part. We were hoping for at least a "community" hottub, which would have made our stay more enjoyable. Also, if they had some portable toilet seat risers ( a handicapped room wasn't available), it would have been more comfortable.

Great hotel !!!

This Hotel was awesome easy to find It was quiet, Nice and clean rooms beds were comfortable. The coffee from the coffee bar was excellent The pool was perfect size and temperature plenty of clean towels.The staff was friendly checking in was a breeze and we had a great time at this hotel we will stay at the Red Roof Inn again.
