Don't do it...

I went to this inn because it was the cheapest and boy did I get what I paid for. In my first room half of the lights didn't work and neither did the TV. The shower curtain was broken as well. In addition all of the towels, sheets, and pillows looked filthy and had stains all over. I asked for another room the next day. They sent me to a room that had candy wrappers laying all over the floor, an unmade bed and a toilet that needed to be cleaned. It was obvious that the maid service had not been in there to clean it yet so once again I had to request another room. The staff was very understanding and helpful though and finally gave me a decent room. Although the towels, sheets and pillows were still pretty dirty in all the rooms. I suggest you spend the extra $$ and go to a decent place. If you do decide to go here then maybe think about bringing your own towels and pillows. Also the place is near train tracks so you will be awakened in the night by the train blaring its horn.

Disappointed Upon Arrival

I am a member of Wynham rewards and Knights Inn is one of the hotel chains on the program. In my opinion this hotel needs to be removed from this program because of its lack of quality and poor upkeep of facilities. I would not recommend it to anyone.

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

Go to Safeway just 2 miles East and get a hot sandwich and soup. There is even a Starbucks inside, so you can sit down. A great steakhouse is Bill Johnson's Big Apple. There are 4 around Phoenix/Mesa. Good value; fabulous baked potatoes.

Do not stay here!!!

I often stay at cheap hotels. This was one of the worst I've stayed at. Uncomfortable, old, and not clean. Next door to a strip club. The best word to describe the hotel is skanky. There was a used condom next to the stairs. NOT kid-friendly-there were 2 graphic adult channels provided. Do not believe them when they say they have a continental breakfast. They also charge $11 per dog but don't tell you until you check in. Couldn't even get an extra blanket after asking several staff. Spend the extra $10 and stay somewhere else!!

Worst location for a special getaway....

This place is right next to a strip club, if that is what you are into then fine, but it is definitely not for a special getaway... I was disappointed as soon as we drove in to the location, with the people who were driving in and coming out, and the room looked like a sleezy hotel room. I refused to stay there.

Near the Fairgrounds and Downtown

The room had a lot of space and was ok for what I paid… the desk clerk was friendly and since the building is older, the walls are thin and furniture is aged.
