InnPlace Hotel Phoenix North

It was very clean and worth the money. Great location & easy to find. Near freeways but not near enoug\h to hear. I would stay here again.

Nice clean hotel. Close to everything. Large room. The one downfall is there was no continental breakfast.

Loved the room, great price and great service! Only bad thing was that the bed was a little uncomfortable, but everything else was absolutely great!

I checked in late, and there was a person in front of me who took forever to finish checking in. There was only one person in charge of checking in, but he apologozed for the delay and checked me in quickly afterwards. I was not able to utilize the bar nor the breakfast which was not free. The business center had two pcs, (XP Pros) which were extremely slow on start up, most probably because the temporary files had not been deleted for a long time. There was a fridge in the room with no freezer in it. The bed was comfortable, the room was nice, and one could open the window which is something I prefer to do if I can. The surrounding area has several eating choices, a pool hall/sports bar across the street. Not too close to I-17 so no freeway noise. Overall, good choice for the price.

I'm not really one to write reviews at all, but I feel like I should here, to warn other travelers. I suppose I shouldn't have expected any more, staying in the cheapest hotel I could find on this website. Still, all I wanted was something clean with a bed. Well, the bed was there, but the clean aspect was not. The check in process was painless and quick, I'll give them that. Their lobby is nice, too. But once I got into the 1970's, cricket-y elevator, I knew things weren't looking good. The door to the room itself was tattered with scuff marks and dings, and the room was not much better. There were stains on the carpet, the walls, and (worst of all) the bed. In the bathroom, there was at least 2 inches of dirty water with tiny black specks in it. Don't know what that was and I don't want to know. Suffice to say, no shower was taken. I checked for bedbugs (you would too if you saw the room), and thankfully didn't find any. The bed was hard as a rock and honestly, not clean at all. I found pieces of popcorn (complementary breakfast?!) between the sheets, and random stains on the mattress. All in all it wasn't the worst hotel I've ever been in, but far from a 3.5/5 hotel that I expected. I would give it 1.5/5. I was only there from about 10pm to my 5am checkout the next morning, so I suppose the place served its purpose. I'd only recommend it to someone SERIOUSLY on a budget, as it was (as mentioned) disgusting, in the MIDDLE OF NOWHERE (45 minutes from the airport, in case you're wondering), and probably only good for single adults staying just 1 night.

The hotel is located near many shops, restaurants and attractions. We enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly. The recommendations would be to offer room service, extend the breakfast time and change or remodel the bathtubs & carpets. Also, upgrade to flat screen TVs.
