Nice hotel, didn't know it was here at such a good price, I think one of the best things about it is all the things around it although I didn't use them this time, I think it's a pretty normal hotel, everything was clean, didn't use the pool so can't comment about that, there is a breakfast buffet at the restaurant which was OK, I would stay here again.

Don't let the outside of the hotel fool you -
An ugly building but a nice hotel inside. Staff were -very- friendly, almost too much. The room was furnished very nicely but needed more electrical outlets. Large pool but I didn't have time to use it. The bathroom/closet area was cleverly set up so when you open the closet doors they can become a privacy door for the bathroom. Room needed another table for the coffee machine (and it needed a microwave) so the makeup counter could be cleared.

Pleasant surprise
Don't let the ugly building fool you - it's clean and well-kept inside and my room was nicely appointed. The bed was very comfortable, with extra pillows, and the square shower was the most spacious I have seen in a hotel room. The room would be really luxurious if they added a microwave and a side table to locate the coffeemaker and the icebucket and another chair for the makeup counter. The area (Metrocenter) was kind of dead, though maybe it is the off-season (April).

One night stay
A nice and quite hotel. The staff is friendly and they offered to upgrade our room for free. We only stay for one night on our way to airport. It is not close to airport and the traffic on the freeway to the airport can be bad.

Phoenix
The hotel was once a Sheraton Four Point. It is definitly not now. I don't believe any thing has been don to the place since it changed hands. The rooms are below average in comfort and cleanliness. The pool area was a disaster. It was full of trash and leaves. It was never cleaned in the two days we were there. The spa was for 16 up but not enforced. Usually full of kids. Was happy to smell chlorine as the water did not appear clean. If you go to Phoenix book early so you won't have to settle for this hotel.

Nice place to stop for the night in Phoenix
Would have given it an exdtra half star, if I could. We were on our way home from Flagstaff. Stayed in Phoenix to catch a Spring Training game :D The staff was great! The room was more than adequate. The bed was very comfortable. Be sure to eat at the Texas Roadhouse right across the street. Maybe the hotel should get extra points for being so close to the great food. Will definitely stay there again.

Lacking SECURE-ity
There are some goods and some bads about this hotel. I will start with the good things, but please don't stop there or you may regret it! The hotel location is nice, right off of I-17 with lots of restaurants and stores within walking distance. The rooms are hallways are clean and the rooms are pretty good size with a desk to work on and a mini-fridge. Now for the bad stuff. First of all, we showed up after booking online and they did not have our reservation at the front desk. After about 45 minutes of waiting, we finally got into our room. Also, the hotel does not have free breakfast, if you want breakfast, you have to pay a very high amount to get a continental breakfast that is free at most hotels. After spending the day out on our first day there, we came back to our room door not shut, open to anyone who would like to wander in. We called the front desk and there answer was, no joke, "ya, that happens sometimes". That's it!! Before leaving the second day, we put a 'do not disturb' sign on the door, figuring we would rather dry off with dirty towels than to leave our room open to the public again. Guess the sign didn't do the trick. We get back and the sign is off of the outside of the door, put back on the inside, and they came in and cleaned anyways. Not such a horrible thing until 10:00 at night when we were trying to go to sleep and it seemed awful loud in the room. I go over to our window and they left it wide open after cleaning, no screen, no nothing, just open to the world. They finally followed our do not disturb sign the last two days, but the damage was done by then. So, if you are willing to gamble with the security of your room, this place is ok, but if you don't plan on having a free flea market sale while you are gone, I wouldn't stay here.
