Trip Stopover
Stayed at this hotel during trip to Sedona due to early flight out of Phoenix. The hotel is clean, service staff very friendly and rooms comfortable. Did not need the shuttle as we had a rental car. Very convenient to the airport due to new expressway off of University that goes directly to the terminals.

Convenient to airpot, clean, great breakfast
This is a basic Holiday Inn Express, convenient to Sky Harbor Airport. While close to the airport, the location is otherwise basic, not a great neighborhood. However, 3 things stood out - staff, shuttle and breakfast. Staff - we checked in well after midnight; he had us in our room quickly, but we knew what time breakfast was and that there was a shuttle back to the airport the next morning (to pick up our rental car). Shuttle driver was wonderful - helped us with our bags, dropped us off at the rental car location, etc. Made our lives easier. Breakfast was a step above - included eggs and bacon, along with all the other "usual" items. And the lady serving the breakfast bar was just as nice as all the rest of the staff. All in all, a very nice place to stay.

Getaway
The front counter man was very nice. To be honest it was the worst motel I have ever stayed in. We had to fix our phone, had issues with the Internet but once that was running it was ok...u could only use one pc! The location was perfect for what i was in town for. I probably won't stay at this motel again.

Not Quite Retired Grandma
Last night in Arizona
The Holiday Inn Express Suites & Hotel near the Phoenix Airport was the perfect spot to end our Arizona trip. We enjoyed a complimentary happy hour and then had dinner at the restaurant at the sister hotel next door. The location was perfect for our early morning flight back home.

Best of the 4
During our vacation to Arizona we stayed in 4 hotels, The Double Tree by Hilton-Gilbert, Days Inn-Sedona, Little America-Flagstaff, and the Holiday Inn Express-Phoenix Airport. Of all 4 this was the most comfortable, very close to Airport (10 mins away). We used a rental car howeved the hotel has shuttle svc to Airport and to the mall. All amenities were 1st rate. Good room service menu and staff even recommended good restaurants in the area (good NY style pizza with delivery svc). Also there is a Waffle House on the premisis. What more can I say, excellent night prior to departure to home.

hotel bathrooms must be complete w/ toiletries whenever the guests enter the room. they must not wait for guests to request items like, toothbrush,toothpaste...etc....
