Grace Inn

The Grace Inn is an older property, but in fine condition. Our room was clean, quiet, a good size, functional, but not fancy. Everything worked well. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The $5 breakfast they offer in the dining room is excellent and there are many choices. Not buffet, but menu order. The pool looked clean and inviting, but we didn't have time to use. It was a perfect location for us to attend a family wedding over a weekend in the Ahwatukee neighborhood and to visit family in Gilbert. Would stay again when in that area.

When I found something wrong and brought it to the attention of management (a drain clogged with hair and a faucet not working properly and so forth) they work fixed in a timely matter. The rooms were cleaned and stocked at a high standard of professionalism.When I was out on the little patio I could hear the next door neighbors (they were very loud), but when I went back inside to go to bed I could not hear them at all. all around It has been the best I have ever stayed at and did not give them a 5 star rating because there is always roon for improvement but for the money it was the best one I have ever stayed at.

This was an old hotel. the room is spacious but the equipments were old and some not working like the lamp and the fridge. the shower heater does not work all the time. The staffs were not as friendly as I read in the previous reviews. When we go down to the desk they don't even greet us it's as if we were not there. We stayed there for 4 days and the only time the receptionist spoked to us was during check in and check out.

The first (and only...more on that later) morning, I had to: -fix the flapper valve in the toilet -unclog the shower drain -manually engage the temperature control handle for the shower because it was broken free of the adjustment shaft. After all of that, I still was determined to stay, until the complimentary breakfast...wasn't. I immediately booked another room elsewhere and checked out.

Nice place to stay.Central to everything, about one half hour to everything.The bed was a little hard for my taste.Clean and very quiet .Staff very helpful.Had a great 7 day stay.

For the low price I was expecting a bit of inconvenience or discomfort and was pleasantly surprised! While dated it was a very clean facility. Close to ASU, all ballparks, Phoenix, Scottsdale and Tempe. Easy on and off freeway and heard no freeway noise. Cleaning staff was excellent, a $5.00 full breakfast everyday. Lovely pool and hot tub, emptied and cleaned while there. Front desk staff went above and beyond to help me with my boarding pass situation. I will definitely return to the Grace Inn!

We travel to the Phoenix area nearly every year for Spring Training. This year we stayed at the Grace Inn. Our room was clean and well-kept during our five day visit. Staff members were friendly and attentive. The pool and courtyard areas were kept neat and clean. Although there was no continental breakfast, the full breakfast offerings were tasty, reasonably priced, and the service and atmosphere were generally satisfactory. However, we do hope that the ownership will see fit to bring this grand old hotel into the 21st century soon. The Wi-Fi service was slow and erratic. TV was abysmal. Grace Inn offers tremendous potential but is in need of serious TLC. Some areas were neglected, hallways were dingy, elevators slow and noisy, water fountains inoperable, and the decor was quite dated. Despite these shortcoming, we did have a generally positive experience thanks mostly to a clean room, nice pool area, and a friendly, helpful staff. The price was right and the location is ideal. We will visit again if we learn that measures have been taken to update this fine old hotel.

Room size good, freeway noise, drapes didn't close tight enough to stop morning sun pouring in, also tops of drapes loaded with dust. Sink wouldn't drain. No brkft. Will not stay again.

I traveled 34 years as a road warrier and this was the worst experience at a hotel I ever have had. The internet didn't work, the business center had no computers ( Iwas told they were broken) I found a cockroach in the bathroom and the hotel restaurant was so understaffed there were no tables available. No one to clean up a dirty table is pretty bad. To top that off I found the desk clerks to be sullen and not helpful. Never again!!!!!!!!!!
