I always enjoy staying at the hotel each year because each room has everything I need, whether I want to cook, relax and read a book, watch TV or shop at the nearest stores, everything is convenient including the on site laundry. I don't like bringing home dirty laundry. Thank you to the ladies at the desk, my stay was very pleasant. I have been visiting every year for the last five years, this was the first time I got a chance to visit Sedona. It is beautiful and the weather was great.

Good Location, But Pretty Grungy
The good: Decently sized room. The location near the 17 and 101 is ideal for traveling throughout North Phoenix. Decent amenities for a kitchenette. Comfortable beds, and the staff is helpful and friendly. The bad: THIN walls and ceilings. Motel seems to cater more to long-term residents in unfortunate circumstances than business travelers. The ugly: Multiple stains in the carpeting, including a red spot near the desk that looked suspiciously like blood (probably wasn't, of course, but still unsavory to have to look at constantly.) Dank smell of mold and cigarette smoke in the stairwells. Verdict: Other options are a better value for professionals than this ESA location, even at $30-$40 more per night.

Note that Rose Garden does not have direct access off southbound I-17. My GPS wanted to send me to the 101 to exit at 27th Ave and double back; better option is to exit at Deer Valley.

Good, Clean, Basic Room
Good clean room for the price. Nothing fancy but no complaints about the hotel itself. Location is a bit deserted. Not even a gas station in walking distance. No problem with a car.

Great place to stay
My stay was for 2 nights and my stay was very enjoyable. The room was clean and the staff was so helpful and nice. I felt at home with a kitchen as part of the amenities. I recommend this hotel to anyone for a few days stay or anything extended.

convenience location for purpose of trip
The staff was friendlier than any other time I stayed there but everything else was fine. I would definitely stay there again and refer them to others. It's quiet and I really like that they have a guest laundry on the premises. I appreciate that they do not go in the rooms everyday and move my personal items.
