Terrible location & worn
The hotel is in a location I would not ever vist or stay in: Junk yard cars, abondoned bussinesses, and adult entertainment. Their shuttle to the airport is only on the hour, so ment leaving earlier than necessary; but was good. The staff was friendly and helpful with directions.

Hard mattress
The rooms were pretty nice, but the mattress was very hard and the pillows were awful. It was located very close to the airport, but not within walking distance of any food.

close the airport
stayed in the hotel because it was close to the airport. Shuttle service was fine, but the front desk help with the shuttle service was not.

Very clean and pleasant
My stay at the Econo Lodge Airport Phoenix was a pleasant experience. The staff were very friendly and catered to your every need. The fire alarm in our room was beeping and I called the front desk and was given a choice of a new room, or someone would be there to fix it within five minutes.They were there with a new battery as stated. I asked where a good place to eat was and was asked what type of food I liked. They gave directions to a very nice restaurant.The parking lot was spotless as were the rooms. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

Bill Johnsons East is the best rib and steak house for the price.Quite the bang for your buck. A fun place with a great staff.

Convenient to airport
The room was very basic. Clean, but thin pillows, few amenities (basic toiletries, budget variety). The staff was very friendly, although we were offered a wake-up call that did not come. It was close to the airport and the shuttle service was a definite plus.

We were less than 10 minutes from the airport and the shuttle service was reliable - a definite plus since we had an early morning flight.

Value for your money
While the hotel is in a questionable neighborhood, the closest restraunt was a strip club, the room was clean. The continental breakfast in the morning was minimal, but it had hot coffee so no complaints.

The hotel was very clean. The staff very knowledgable and friendly. But the hotel is in a bad area. No place within 1/2 mile to eat. Nothing around the hotel to do. They have a nice clean pool, but it is small.

Convient place to stay
The Econo Lodge was very convient to the airport and the car return center which was a important to us. The staff was very helpfull and friendly. Gave us a wonderful suggestion for dining locally. The room had two queen size beds in it and was plenty large enough for the two of us. We use this lodge on our return trip.

NICE STAFF
THE STAFF WAS VERY NICE. NEIGHBORHOOD OF HOTEL WAS NOT SAFE FOR FEMALES TO WALK AROUND ALONE. THERE WERE NOT STORES NOR RESTAURANTS IN WALKING DISTANCE OF HOTAL. WILL NOT USE THIS HOTEL AGAIN.
