Comfortable Stay
I was surprised at the nightly room rate considering it is a DoubleTree property. The room was dated, especially the bathroom so I understood the rate after seeing these things. Despite that, it was comfortable and clean. There seemed to be lots of activity throughout the hotel with guests coming and going all of the time. Thankfully, it remained quiet throughout the night. Dinner service in the restaurant was subpar. It took a while for us to get a table, let alone for a server to approach and welcome us. I looked around and the restaurant was very quiet so I couldn't identify a real reason why service took so long. I would stay here again just to be close to the airport and have a pool.

sofa sleeper and amenities
4 of us for the nite. Had to sleep on the pullout sofa, it was horrible. Also, there was 2 lotions and no shampoo in the bathroom. The desk staff were nice enough, just not enough of them.

great place to stay!!
How can you not like a hotel that offers you a warm freshly baked delicious chocolate chip cookie upon check-in? This place is a real bargain -- maybe more so because I went during the summer, when prices might be lower in Phoenix. In any case, it was comfortable, clean, had a very nice staff, and overall was a very positive experience.

needed a place overnight close to airport
We had a very early flight out and needed a place to stay with an airport shuttle that could handle the family. The place was very accommodating. It was easy to turn in the rental car and get a ride to the hotel and back to the airport early the next day. Having two rooms made it easy for my son to watch TV after my wife and I went to bed. The pool and other facilities were great. The next time I am in Phoenix, I will plan a longer stay here.

Everything was above what I expected. Just what a weary Alaskan needed in December. Clean and friendly. Quiet spot (despite being so close to the airport).

Love the cookies!
I arrived very late after my flight was delayed, but the front desk quickly handled the late arrivals. They give everyone a hot chocolate chip cookie, which was great after the travel day I'd had. The room was very comfortable. I only stayed one night. I wish I had time to use the pool. The hotel is arranged around the pool and it looked very inviting. My stay also included breakfast, which is far more than the old cereal dispensers and bananas. It's a full, hot buffet with fruit, bacon and sausage, scrambled eggs, pancakes, muffins and more! I had a very nice stay and would recommend it to others.
