Days Inn Phoenix Metrocenter

this Days Inn made my 10 day visit to Phoenix, very pleasant. The staff was friendly and helpful to my needs. Aside from no ashtray in a smoking room,and the lack of an ice bucket, it was a good experience.

The room was very clean and the bed was wonderful. Every one was more than willing to help me. Since I Booked through a online booking agent. Nothing told me the shuttle had to be scheduled 24 hours in advance, but the staff was more than willing to help me figure out transportation on a last min basis when i checked in. The agent that checked me in was wonderful. Will defiantly recommend and stay here again if i stay in phoenix.

First of all the costumer service was bad and the check in time is way to late. The location is very bad, we fealt very unsafe. The rooms were not comfortable and the cleanliness is very bad. Too pricy for such a bad hotel. Overall a horrible experience.

I per-paid for a week at this hotel based on good reviews. Called in to hold a "safe" room near the desk. The shuttle was late and I arrived 2 hours late due to that. When I got to the hotel, I was told my room was sold and I was sent to a filthy room, complete with the smell of sewage, ripped up and severely stained carpet, sticky surfaces, and dead bugs in the tub. Terrified, I called for a room changed. I was alone with my four year old. An employee came and yelled at me and some other guests, but the manager finally moved me to a safer (smoking) room. Since I was visiting my 80 year old grandmother all week, I stayed and endured. I have stayed in hostels, budget hotels, and a number of Days Inns over the years. Do not, under any circumstances, go to this hotel.

Good room / non smoking but stuffy smell. Averegae breakfast. Excellent helpful staff.

This place was horrible. Location was horrible. Not handicap accessible .. No coffee maker, phones and laundry service out of order and wifi wasn't working either .. Cigarette holes in blankets in our non smoking room etc The housekeepers didn't clean our room and when I had to walk to the front office for towels (because there was no one to be found) I was questioned like it was my fault.. Then he offered me a 5$ coupon Really? Maybe some decent towels would have been so insulting / hard I left the coupon for the housekeepers tip.. Seeing as I was a housekeeper in Vegas .. I would have expected less if I skipped cleaning a room

Enjoyed it. It was quiet, we didn't have to deal with loud people. Staff was great. I would book there again if I come back to Phoenix. :)

Driving to destination, called & asked if we could check in early. Was told room would be ready @ 1pm. Arrived, room was not ready. Was told to come back, I told them I would not be able to come until 8pm. Was told room would be ready and waiting. When returned, was told the room we had been promised had been given away because we didn't check in earlier. I was angry, and said, Just give me a room, because my handicapped daughter is going to cry and scream when I wake her up to get in the room, the sooner I can get her into bed, the better.The desk clerk then informed me that since I was threatening him and planned to be a disturbance, I was not welcome there and refused to check us in. I had to drive down the road to another hotel and pay more, but at least they allowed handicapped children.

After this stay, I was pretty disgusted. I guess you get what u pay for. Non-smoking rooms, reeked of smoke. Our feet turned black from walking on the carpets. Had to lay blankets down on the floor. Breakfast in morning was very disappointing. Over, regret spending the $ to stay there...

First in No smoking rooms -strong smell of cigarettes. 2nd Toilet overflowed completely flooding the floor the first time we used it. 3rd I had to insist on getting another room. Front Desk was only going to plunge toilet and swab floor- even when I told them about major flooding and smells. I insisted at front desk for a change. 2nd room- Air conditioner did not cool room adequately. Also discovered Ice is not free to guests here. Rest of stay was OK but I can not recommend this hotel.
