Great middle ground
The hotel is really clean suprisingly updated for an old hotel. The room was very nice, not what I expected. Booked based on the reviews and they were for the most part very positive. Which they turned out to be completly true. I totally recommend this place its close enough to downtown phoenix and everything else.

The staff was great - weather was awesome - location was ok, only a few places you can walk to get dinner but only a short drive to downtown.

A little disappointed
My husband and I won't return to this hotel. We've stayed at many Best Western Inn & Suites that were maintained much better than this one, which was surprising. First of all, there weren't enough towels, and I felt like I had to beg for more each day. Our toilet was dirty on the inside and wasn't cleaned properly until the 3rd night of our stay. During the middle of the day, there was no hot water at all. The bed was comfortable though, and the room seemed basically clean overall. I will give the hotel props for the breakfast buffet, however. They had a very nice selection of a full breakfast buffet and the food quality was very good.

Shopping tip:
Short drive from hotel
We enjoyed shopping in Old Scottsdale for various Native American jewelery and cowboy boots. Also, the Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall is a lot of fun to walk around and has a large selection of shops.

awful breakfast/comfortable bed
it was ok but nothing to write home about the location is very good though and it was clean and comfortable but small. the bed was very good though ,better than most under $100.00 bucks a night. i think it was worth what it cost but not anything much higher. but was not displeased with anything at all except there breakfast isnt worth eating.

Dad's Visit
OK, but not quite what I expected
The Jr. Suite room was pretty small and we didn't have hot water. The cable wire was run under the carpet and there was about a one inch gap between the door leading OUTSIDE and the floor. On a positive note, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Great Stay
We stayed here after 9 hour flight and found it to be clean, comfortable & conveniently located. All staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was enough to keep us happy until evening meal. The lady in the breakfast room taught us how to make waffles - a first! The pool was a welcome in such high temperatures. Excellent value.

Doting aunt
Great Stay
I usually stay at the Hilton Point but my last stay with them was not good and I decided to try Best Western Plus. What a good decision. The location was perfect for me and the staff was very welcoming and gracious. The room included breakfast which was a nice touch. The room was clean and comfortable. The only negative aspect was there are no elevators which means you have to carry luggage up to the second floor. I will definitely stay there again.
