Christmas at the Biltmore
The lobby of this hotel is one of the athstecially pleasing places I have been. Also the location near Squaw Peak is great for activity. Room/bathroom were clean, spacious, and of good quality. Due to the surrounding grounds golf courses and communities you have to go quite some time before getting anywhere. The gym is cramped. service was excellent. Items ordered at the front desk got to my room before I was able to walk all the way there. $28 per per person per day resort fee is a bit ridiculous especially if you travel with your kids.

Arizona Biltmore
The resort is a classic and much more attractive than some online pictures. Due to heavy occupancy, we were upgraded to a large villa located just off the pool area - a great location. Grounds are beautiful with a wonderful view of Camelback Mountain.

Wonderful resort
Loved staying at the resort. Beautiful grounds, lots of fun activities for the family; large, comfortable rooms; and great pools and jacuzzis. My only complaint is the hotel charging a daily resort fee and self-parking fee. I think these charges should be included in the rate.

Arizona Biltmore
This is a beautiful historical resort/hotel that is well maintained. The price was very reasonable, considering it was Thanksgiving weekend. Our only complaint was the $28 (plus tax) charge per day called "resort fee." When will these hotels stop doing this? Extra charges just alienates the customer, especially the business traveler. Wise up, you heads of Hilton. Put all your fees in your price - no more surprises at check out. Others will hear about this.

Nice, but ...
We reserved two queen beds but they didn't have them when we arrived. The upgraded us to two king beds, after much delay. Overall, it was a nice place to stay.

In Hotel
Valet service seeems expensive, but in reality is is not. It will alleviate some of the stress of luggage, parking and excessive walking. A worthwhile expense for so much luxury.

Pleasant stay
My hotel stay was pleasant. The first night I arrived late from NY (12:30 am) and was booked into a "cottage style" room. I was a little put off that I wasn't offered any assistance walking to my cottage that was located a good distance from the main hotel building and it being late and dark I was a little nervous trying to find my way with luggage to my cottage. I didn't like the cottage, it had a strange configuration. The bathroom didn't have a door and the TV had to be moved to view from the bed. I requested another room the next day and without any questions asked, was given another room in the Terrace Court complex (I preferred being upstairs and the room had a fabulous view of the mountains). The baseball All-Star activities were in full swing by Sunday and I enjoyed all the extra activities and baseball player sightings. The grounds are well kept, the staff was very nice and the service very good. I would recommend staying in the main building or Terrace Court area if you are a woman traveling alone. I enjoyed the relaxed environment and the different pools you have to choose from. I scheduled a full day spa experience and was pleased with the services. I would recommend this hotel and probably would return.

Two Strikes - Your Out
I stayed at the Biltmore on two separate occasions in the past 6 months with my family. While the grounds are beautiful and historic, the first weekend was a complete nightmare. A Fraternity reunion brought literally hundreds of Frat brothers to the property where they did their best to recreate "Animal House".The security did nothing despite 5 calls. After complaining bitterly we were offered a complimentary night stay as a make-up visit. On our second visit an ear-piercing fire alarm went off in the middle of the night in our room. Maintenance came 40 minutes later to replace batteries ruining our night of sleep. Never again! I honestly wouldn't go there again if they paid me to stay there. Beautiful place - Terrible service! There are far better places to stay in Phoenix, especially for the price. As fans of Frank Lloyd Wright, we were so disappointed.

Great Place!!
Think of Old Hollywood & this is the place! The grounds were manicured to a tee & the staff waits on you hand & foot. We loved the pool! The kids loved the waterslide, outdoor lawn chess board, and on site miniature golf. The rooms were beautiful, but the feather beds were a bit too soft for us. The food was excellent for room service, in the restaurant, and the patio dining. Pool side food was good, too. Most of the service was quick, efficient, courteous, and friendly. Everyone here caters to your every need and is very friendly and easily approachable. You get what you pay for! Loved it!
