Americas Best Value Inn

Good location in relation to the heart of downtown Phoenix. Room was more than adequate for my needs. I basically needed a place to sleep and shower. The room was very clean and quiet. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone who doesn't need all the bells and whistles of a much higher priced hotel. I know I will stay there on my next trip to Phoenix to see my son. Couldn't beat the price for what I got!!

This place was great! Perfect for a quick trip to Phoenix. We're a young couple from Tucson and just went up to watch the Opening Series at Chase Field. The staff were very nice and accommodating! If you need internet, the wifi is a little slow but completely functional. We stayed in room 222 which is a corner room on the 2nd floor. There is a little road noise but it gets blocked out when you turn the A/C on (which works great!). However, it's a mostly quiet part of downtown. The rooms are small but comfortable and look exactly like the pictures the hotel provides. We walked to and from Chase Field and felt safe leaving our car in the parking lot and walking through the neighborhood. Many of the surrounding businesses aren't open at night so the area isn't as well lit as other parts of downtown. I would be cautious if you're going to walk around at night with children. If you're looking for a great place to stay downtown that's also budget friendly, look no further! It's definitely my top choice of the "lesser" hotel chains. We'll be staying again for sure.

Great experience, comfortable and clean. Walking distance to all restaurants and lounges!! Will definitely be back!

I came to PHX to converge with a group from around the country, we spent little time at the hotel but it was located very near our home base. The rooms are clean, sparse, and sufficient. Free wifi, plenty of outlets, the carpet's not sticky, plenty of clean towels. Probably not ideal for a family looking for a vacation to remember, but perfect if you're on a mission and just need a clean place to lay your head. It's very near the convention center so a short cab ride or a mid-length walk during the non-sweltering months will get you to the show

The room was great for the price I paid. The only problem was that the owner wanted to blame me for another guest next to my room complaining about noise, and I hadn't made a noise at all. It was as if the owner expected me to apologize, which was awkward. Looks like I'll be going to the hotel next door to this one from now on to avoid being accused of a noise complaint, which is no big deal since the prices are the same.

at .9 miles away and for a lot less $ than the bigger hotels, it was a value and I got some exercise. The outside looked like any other budget hotel, but the inside was nice and the A/C worked great. Free coffee, OJ and some packaged pastries in the lobby for breakfast. No swimming pool, but plenty on channels on a fairly large TV. Some traffic noise, but this is Phoenix. Would stay again,

It was a clean hotel. Front desk is helpful with directions and where to get groceries. Even printed a map on how to get to Glendale, AZ. It was an overall ok experience. Nothing fancy but you get what you paid for.

This hotel was great. It was just completely remodeled. Bed and pillows were outstanding. The bathroom and main bedroom were just recently remodeled. The hottest hot water of any hotel I've stayed in. We have a start up business and discretionary dollars don't allow us to stay at the Westin or Hyatt so this is a great little gem. There is an urban pizzeria called Cibo that was excellent...5 minute walk. I would stay there again!

RHE BED WAS GOOD AND THE LOCATION WAS VERY GOOD FOR US. WE HAD A GOOD NIGHT SLEEP.

Nice clean smaller hotel run by a family that truly appreciates their customers. I will go back next time I'm in Phoenix. Very nice people.
