Motel 6 Birmingham

They were kind enough to let me check in early. The front desk staff was amazing - she even called to make sure I made it to my room. The reservation was for one king bed but my room had two double beds. The ceiling looked like it was going to fall in on me at any time.I'm thinking for the money, I shouldn't have expected much more.

We booked a non-smoking room, but the room still has a strong cigarette smell. There is no shampoo or body lotion provided.

my stay was aight its was less then 10 min away from downtown n 5min from the mall that the only thing was good about it.... The room did not have no heat or iron when i call to the office they was not we do not have a iron n u should broughr your own.... What hotal do not have a iron n there room....

It was a nice stay, quiet & convenient to the interstate & good restaurants.

DID NOT LIKE THE MOTEL MUCH, THE ROOMS ARE WELL USED AND IT IS EVIDENT WHEN YOU LOOK AROUND. HARD FOR ME TO RELAX AND GET A GOOD NIGHTS SLEEP. WAS RELIEVED TO LEAVE THE NEXT DAY.

For me as a student from a different state The people on Front desk were very nice, helpful and with good information about Birmingham. The room is good overall and the price was absumoutely great for a student. Thank you

I have stayed at a number of hotels/motels in the last several months. I must say that this motel would rank somewhere close to the bottom of my list to stay at again. I stayed longer then i had booked online and not once did housekeeping come by to see if i needed anything. I had to go to the front desk to get clean towels and i had to take the trash out myself. They claim that they have a microwave and refrig in the rooms but when i got there i learned that they only have 4 rooms that have them. The room smelled really bad. They was suppose to honor my price that i was given online but when i got there it was a total different price and they charge by the person. One of the staff members spent most of their time outside talking to their girlfriend and didnt pay attention that i was even in the office.

My husband and I booked a night here with [...], and I was disgusted. The blankets were nasty, the pillow were as thin as paper, the TV was bolted to the dresser and everytime you bumped it you felt like it was going to fall off the dresser. It was awful, I do not advise anyone to stay at the Birmingham location.

This motel, compared to the Howard Johnson's I stayed at a couple of times before was smaller, less comfortable beds and pillows, less amenities (no shampoo, no fridge, no pool, no microwave in room) $30 more expensive...

The TV only had a few channels and they were not that clear. The room room was really clean but we did see a roach run up the wall. But he is dead now, don't know if he goy clean up. Other than the roach ever thing was sat. a great BBQ joint just up the road.
