Worth the money
For the price we paid for the room (under $50, mid-week) , it was a pleasant surprise to see crisp clean sheets and a clean bathroom. The room was cramped with two doubles for two people, but definitely worth what we paid.

Nice stay
My daughter and I had a nice stay this past weekend. It was just what we needed. The only negatives: water damage around the shower head and a bit of noise from U.S. 280.

Very comfortable
My only complaint is the breakfast was not very wide spread and the ices chime was broken ony floor but other than that it was very nice.

Great Location
The hotel was in a great location for what we wanted to do. A refrigerater would have made the trip nicer. There weren't enough towels for 3 ladies, but when I requested more I got them. All in all, it was a nice stay. The room did not have a fresh smell. But it wasn't to bad.

Pretty good, with very few minor problems
I stayed there for four nights in October while attending the Barbor Motorcycle Festival in Leeds. The price was a bit higher than other places I've stayed in years past, but I was traveling with a buddy and I didn't want it to be a bad experience for him. The hotel was relatively easy to find, and well located for a wide variety of eating establishments. There is a 'private club' (anyone can enter - just sign the slip at the door# very near by, with live music on Thurs, Fri and Sat nights. This was a minor annoyance, as the music was able to be heard in my hotel room #my room was on the front side of the hotel#. However, if you're looking for a place to drink and eat well beyond normal hours, this place was your ticket. The hotel staff to a person were extremely personable and helpful. They really made the visit pleasant. The "breakfast" provided was standard continental fare - toaster waffles, bagels and cream cheese or peanut butter, boiled eggs, machine juice and (pretty bad) coffee, etc. More/better variety would be nice, but hey, it was free. All in all, not a bad stay or accomodations. A few more amenities would have been nice for the price, but the room was clean & the bed was comfortable.

Short drive from hotel
Get the listing of restaurants from the front desk. They're divided by categories, and have directions on how to get there. They're also good restaurants! Directly across from Kobe is a Thai restaurant that was quite good. Hogan's Irish Pub (next to the hotel) is about as Irish as your cousin Bubba, but the beer was good, the burgers decent, the band pretty good (70's-90's), and lots of potential "friends" on and around the dance floor if you're seeking new acquaintances. Or you can just sit on the other side of the building and eat or play pool.

Really nice stay
For the price you can't beat it. We have stayed in dumps before that we're higher priced. Front desk clerk is very welcoming. Not sure why some complain of smoke. This is a smoke-free hotel. It smelled clean from the lobby to our room even when it's a pet-friendly hotel (no additional charge for pets by the way). Room was nice enough with desk. No complaints here and would definitely stay here again. Only drawback would be no pool, but that didn't matter for us.
