Check in and out at front desk was quick and easy; had to pay for parking fee each and every time I came and returned. No continential breakfast-should have it for the price of motel stay. You pay for location of hotel. Hotel is great if you need to go to UAB Medical-connected to hotel along with parking.

Southern Hospitality, Marriott Style!
I was there for the National Junior Olympic Cross-Country Championships and arrived via Amtrak, a short walk to the Courtyard. The staff were great, assisting me in getting transportation to the airport for my rental, and in general, providing me with a ton of information about the area as it was my first visit to Birmingham. The availability of a computer for me to file race stories to my area newspapers in New England were a plus. The hotel is in a great spot where there are a number of eateries within walking distance. Spacious rooms, huge TV's, and, again, a staff who were sincere and genuine!
