The Trafalgar, modern and contemporary, provides an impressive contrast to the capitals more traditional hotels. With several deluxe and deluxe plus rooms offering stunning views across the Square, this exciting new approach will appeal to those who enjoy a chic, comfortable yet minimalistic lifestyle. Within the heart of London's theatre district and next door to the city's main shopping streets, The Trafalgar is close to famous attractions such as the Houses of Parliment, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey and the London Eye.

single female travelling

The Trafalgar is in a great location, close to many major sites. Minutes away from the theatre district, tube station, parliament etc. The roof top bar has a wonderful view. Friendly and helpful staff. As a single female traveller, I felt completely safe. The room was a good size and quiet (room faced inside courtyard). Bathroom had great water pressure for the shower. Some mold on the tiles where the water drips from the tub onto the floor. Several coffee shops beside the hotel for breakfast.

Just fine!

Great room. I gave it 3 stars because the carpet was pretty gross, there was a funny smell in the room, the elevator was broken, and the shower flooded. But the staff is really fantastic-they gave us free drinks for my husband's birthday and in general, everyone was really nice. The location is amazing and the view was nice. Also, it was quiet and safe. The bed was comfy too. I would go back!

fanatstic location, fantastic staff, fantastice breakfast, accounts staff not very helpful

staff so nice and helpfull, breakfast amazing, however do not touch the drinks in the mini bar, i picked up a couple of items just to see what they were, it has an elecronic tab that charges it to your account, on leaving in a rush to catch my train i did not check my bill, on reviewing it on my way home i noticed a lot of bar charges, on contacting the accounts department i was put through to an answer phone, after leaving three messages i still did not get a call back , after finally getting through they said they would take a look at my account and come back to me and guess what no one has

Great Location, Charge for internet

The good: Great location, couldn't be better. Take the tube to Charing Cross and walk for about 5 minutes. We were there for the Harry Potter world premiere and while every other fan had to use gross public toilets, we ran to the hotel. Perfect. The bad: This is London - one of the best cities in the world. Technologically advanced - this posh hotel should have free Wifi. It does not. It charges 15 pounds per 24 hours (ends up being about $24/hr in US currency). This SHOCKED me. If you have the dough, the rooftop bar has an outrageous view; however, we sat up there for 15 minutes and no one helped us so we left. There are restaurants in the hotel - find somewhere else. The ugly: The rooms were nothing special, white walls, sparse, but you're not there for the room. Upon checkout, we had tons of fees added to our bill that weren't ours. Internet charges and a massive bar tab that two people would have a hard time making. The hotel staff did remove the fees.

Walk to Covent Garden and get tickets to a matinee show an hour before they start - you get a great deal. Recommended: Woman in Black.

Good hotel

Good hotel, friendly staff. Good price at the restaurant. The telephone is too expensive, local calls can go easily to 15 pounds for just 10 min talk.

Location, location, location

This hotel is very clean and conveniently located to all central London attractions. The staff is friendly and the food is good too. There are "city" noises at night in London, ie, sirens, noisy revelers etc, but it was not overwhelming. All the places you want to see are within walking distance. Would stay here again.
