Amazing location, everything else just OK
Excellent location for tourists, which was the primary reason we booked this hotel. We were able to walk almost everywhere while on vacation. Free bottles of purified water were a huge plus. Our room had a few small dead spiders that were left on the ceiling when we arrived. Housekeepers vacuumed outside of our room around 8:30 each morning and were often yelling to one another around this time which woke us up several mornings.

Absolutely Perfect Location
Between Charing Cross and Embankment tube stops on Northumberland will get you a great spot for exploring London. Extremely quiet room, comfortable bed combined with that location provides an easy spot to catch your breath in a city that can run you down. We stayed four days and found the staff to be very helpful. The laundry service and housekeeping were great too. Large bedroom and decent sized bathroom were very clean and modern. It might seem a little on the expensive side to some but, this is the highest value room we've stayed in out of our 5 trips to London. Compare prices with other hotels on this block and you'll get the picture. Should be listed as Four Star.

Great hotel, great location!
We stayed at the Grand for our honeymoon. It was in a great location just down the road from Trafalgar Square and a walking bridge to the South Bank. Could't get any closer to the action for the great price we paid. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and a great place to stay! We would stay again any time!
