small rooms, but good value
Like many others, I was a bit taken aback by the smallness of my basement room. However, it had everything I needed, and it was actually pretty quiet .. which is something that I value. My room was very clean, and an easy 10 minute walk from Paddington station ... where the Heathrow Express comes in. If you are on a budget, this is a good choice.

I booked a room with two beds, and since one wasn't available at check-in, I was offered two single bed rooms without any extra charge. The rooms were pretty small which is the only somewhat downside. However, location, staff, and cleanliness were amazing. The free WiFi is pretty spotty. Free breakfast was a nice touch as well; we weren't expecting it.

Easy check-in. Very helpful staff! I had a nice room with in-room safe, microwave. Quiet on 5th floor where I was. WiFi only available in the lobby -- but I was able to access it some from my room once I had the password. 5 min walk from Paddington station -- very convenient. Nearby restaurants / small shops. 10 min slow jog to Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park for extensive paths -- Excellent for jogging -- loads of other people out running, walking their dogs, riding horses, biking, in the mornings.

Good location for Paddington and underground
Second time at this hotel, but this time the room was very small, with a very small bathroom. The first stay was very good but this second stay was disappointing.

teeni tiny double room
This was the smallest double room that we have ever stayed in!! The positives.....LOCATION....we walked to Paddington. The bed was comfortable and the tiny bath was recently nicely updated.

Short walk from hotel
It was a short walk to a number of decent restaurants. Not high end, but decent. The reason we originally chose this hotel was because of its location. It is a short walk to Paddington Station.

Excellent location in paddington
Excellent location in paddington close to train station and express to Heathrow. Rooms very clean but very small though. Good for overnight stop. Have stopped here many times and will stop here again as long as pricing is right.

The hotel room was THE smallest
The hotel room was THE smallest double room we have ever stayed in! I don't know how it can be classed as a 4 star hotel? It was the discounted price and location being near Paddington station for the heathrow express that attracted us so can't complain about the good deal through [this website] but it was so small it was almost dangerous - no room to put the laptop on the desk next to the kettle so had to put tea and coffee tray on the floor with the kettle whilst using the lap top. I have to give them credit for fitting as much as possible into such a confined space, however - but don't think I will return because of the size of the room.

On arrival at the hotel I was
On arrival at the hotel I was told they didn't have a room for me and I was being moved to another one of there hotels, which was annoying as I picked the hotel for its location. They provided me with free taxis back to the original hotel when i needed to get to paddington. this was my second stay and the rooms are very clean and modern but very small
