Good location and trendy facelift cannot make up for an uncomfortably tiny room
Our room was just too small. There are lots of good things about this hotel. It's close to the train/tube station, in a nice neighborhood, and the room was clean. Someone has clearly tried to make the room trendy, but more attention to functionality would have been welcome considering the shoe box we were wedged into. There was no proper closet, no real space to set a suitcase, and the bathroom was the size of a large shower stall. Bottom line, the room was too small.

The hotel is situated in a very central location of London and worth the money. I stayed for the weekend and it was perfect for what I was looking for... some rooms could be bigger especially the showers. Would visit again should opportunity arise... enjoy your stay

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL
Without being emotional let me give you the facts: 1hr 45mins to Check in Then they advised that they were no room available to fullfill my booking and they were transferring me to a hotel in EARLS COURT ! This happened to 8 other people in reception as well. One couple were told they were being transfered to HEATHROW ! they had a show to go and see and were really upset, the Hotel staff really didn't care.

Quite good hotel @ reasonable prices. Smallish rooms ( stayed twice) but as an overnight base the size is fine. I stay in London 1 or 2 nights a week and this hotel is now on my list of regulars that I'll use if available < £100

Lovely room, very comfortable
Lovely room, very comfortable bed, friendly staff. Heating bit wierd and little bit noisier than I would have liked. Also fitness room consists of on exercise bike and one cross trainer. And that was it! But nice hotel nonetheless.

Location good, short walk from Paddington. Room was ok except it was freezing cold in January because windows were not so good and the heating system was not enough to keep the room warm.

Upgraded to a club room which
Upgraded to a club room which was lovely. Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very nice and we were able to leave our case with them for the day after checking out, while we explored London.
