Great Location and Comfortable

Being just two minutes walk from Earls Court tube station and with numerous shops, bars, restaurants, a post office and a dry-cleaner just outside means that this is perfect place to stay if you need to be in London without having to be in the unfairly expensive centre. The hotel has ok modern rooms with all the facilities you would need. Some of them are very small though, so don't expect much space. The corridors are similarly small. Also on the negative side: the walls are very thin and noise from both other guests, their TVs and housekeeping staff in the morning may be intrusive. However I have always found the staff to be polite, eager to help and friendly (which certainly doesn't apply to ALL London hotels). All in all: good value in a great location.

It's a proper hotel!

I wasn't sure what to expect when I booked this hotel, but it is 100% legit. There was a security doorman, a very nice front desk which always was staffed. Electric card locks and a deadbolt on the inside. I felt safe staying at this location even though it's only steps away from Earls Court Tube Station. On the same block there are tons of restaurants, take-aways, a grocery store and convenient stores. The hustle and bustle settles down at night. The hotel offered a full English Breakfast, which I didn't have time for each morning, but I'm sure it was the full trimmings. The room was tidy and had exactly what I needed. I booked a single. It was small quarters, but I didn't stay in the room more than to sleep anyway. The only caveat is that my room was smack against the back of the hotel and so from when I fell asleep to when I woke up I heard the Tube Trains going by. This wasn't too much of a problem as they had two-double paned glass windows, but if you're a super light sleeper this might be something to consider. (The line doesn't run 1am-5:30am I think it is.) But other than that, I enjoyed my stay here and would definitely recommend it.

Across the street was a very fancy and tasty Thai restaurant. It is sort of hidden down a short hall-way. Always busy for dinner! Very nice selection and great staff.

Petit

Very clean and staff very efficient. The only minus was the extraordinarily small rooms. I still don't understand why they took £30 payment on check in, as there is no bar and you don't get it back for 3 days??? Tip- If booking it ask for a room at the front.

Good value and location

This hotel has had several different names over the last few years and was smartly rennovated a while ago. Though there are now a few cracks and marks here and there it is still VERY good value for its comfort and location. Also the staff are consistently friendly, helpful and nice, and that makes staying a very positive experience. Some of the rooms are small, but others more generous in size, and all have good facilities. Tha bathrooms are particularly nice. There is some noise transferrence from neighbouring rooms because of thin walls, but the beds are very comfortable and you will sleep well. The lobby is small, as are the corridors and lift, but this is as to be expected in a smaller hotel. With Earl's Court underground station only two minutes walk away, and all manner of little shops, cafés, pubs etc close by, the location is as perfect as you could want. All in all this adds up to being a great place to stay at a very reasonable price compared to many other similar hotels.

Beautiful London

Close proximity from the hotel to Earl's Court Underground is the best-selling point! For food lovers, there are so many cafes and restaurants in the vicinity you will be spoilt for choice! The train tracks are just beside the hotel, so it's ok if you don't mind the lull when the train passes by.

Good Location, Good Price

It is an excellent value for your money: the hotel is locacted in a very nice neighbourhood, very close to the underground station that connects to the main touristic lines (such as Picadilly). The hotel room had been renovated - altough it is impressivelly small, the bathroom is new, and the room has a flat tv and nice lining bed and towels. I would stay again.

ok for a short stay

Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms are not as grand as they appear in the pictures! Ours was so small that you had to go outside to change your mind. Backs onto the railway line, so trains going past every few minutes, but it didn't bother us, we slept fine. Good location to Earls Court Tube Station as only a couple minutes walk away. Shower room was clean but again very small. We only stayed one night and were satisfied.

Good

Good location- Wired internet and ironing facilities are great. Drawback - some rooms are situated on tube line and noisy. fortunately I was given another on my last day.
