just ok
Positives: Hotel was near tube stations, clean and staff were helpful. Breakfast included. Negatives: Internet access absurdly expensive. Location in non-diverse ethnic (mostly mid-east)community, so food options were limited. Rooms old, but functional. Too expensive for what was provided. Next time would stay in a more "London-like" hotel in a more ethnically diverse neighborhood.

Our 4 days' stay was a very good
Our 4 days' stay was a very good experience, and absolutely value for money. The location is perfect, within walking distance from Paddington, and close to the tube. The room was good and clean, and also the restaurants we tried was well above average.

I stayed only one night and was
I stayed only one night and was informed at check-in (which took about 7 times longer than in any other hotel I had booked through HotelClub before) that I got an upgrade. POSITIVE: The room was reasonably clean and quiet. Good water pressure in the shower. The view on 18th floor was indeed majestetic. Walking distance to Paddington Station (10 minutes). NEGATIVE: The room was only available at 4pm (ticked 8am on the booking form) and the bed was longer than the wall in the rather small room with two single beds in it. Considerable waiting time at Consierge and Reception desks. Neither breakfast nor Internet included (no open WiFi available). Staff was clueless about venue of hotel-intern event. A floor plan would have stopped me from getting lost in the building.

Not your normal Hilton
Hotel located on edge of Lebanese section of London. Being an American, I didn't feel welcome in this section of town. Many of the staff were from another country and had trouble understanding and speaking the English language. Paid for breakfast, which never arrived and was unable to get a refund. Breakfast in England is over $20 and that was times three! Will never go back to this hotel.

Not at all up to Hilton standards.
Not at all up to Hilton standards. Placed in a smoking room "because your room is not ready" although we could have had a superior room for an extra $40 per night which was ready! Plumbing not working properly, cigarette burns on the carpet, smoke stinking the rooms and hallways out. It may have been a "special price"but the place and service was anything but special!

Big, noisy hotel just around the
Big, noisy hotel just around the corner from Paddington station. Adequate room without being spectacular, decor a bit tired overall, and has a budget feel not usual in Hilton hotels, but the room pricing was good (although Stg4.75 for a cappucino was a rip-off).
