The Epitome of Relaxation
The location is perfect. About a 5 minute walk to Hyde Park corner tube station. Within walking distance from Harrods and all the great stores on that strip. A perfect place to stay to have peaceful nights. We only visited the hotel restaurant for Breakfast, and that was excellent. The staff was top notch, incredibly professional with superb attention to detail. Definitely a treat to stay there. There is a Starbucks and a Waitrose grocery store within a 4 minute walk. There is also a Boots 'chemist' (pharmacy) within 4 minutes, although that particular Boots was extremely over priced compared to other Boots within the city. Have to assume that is because of the neighborhood it is in. Lots of pricey Boutiques close by.

Money-saving tip:
Not Applicable
Use the Tube when you want to get around fast. It is close by and relatively cheap for an all day pass that will also allow you to use the double decker buses when you wish to. The all day pass for the tube was under 6 pounds a day. The tube comes every few minutes and is only truly busy during the morning and early evening commute.

Simply Great
Superb Service. The internet died for the entire area around the hotel (Thanks British Telecom). The concierge immediately arranged a wireless internet service and delivered it to the room.

The Haklin Hotel. What can i say...
The Haklin Hotel. What can i say... its the best of the best. I had actually never heard of this hotel before my stay, and what a surprise it was. Great interiors, Friendly Staff, Fantastic Food. It has similar qualities to the 'W' Hotel Chain, although is far more comfortable and luxurious. I will make sure i am always booked into the Halkin when i am in town.
