Mayfair rocks.
Not able to compare with others since this was our first visit. Had all ready spent 5 days on Jersey so arrived a little traveled out. Very friendly staff trying hard to please but not over the top. Very short trip to Green Park tube station and easy transfers to all major attractions. Within easy to tolerable walking distance to the same. A major shopping experience is one stop down the line and right on the exit. Many good pubs and restaurants right around the corner on Chester St. Comfortable bed. Adequate space. Slow drain on sink and tub. Shower controls needed an update. Room service good. Very late room cleanup on our last day. Apparently missed as it was immediately taken care of once brought to their attention. Many good laundries in the area and hotel offered good service as well. Concierge service seemed very good. Comfortable, classy, lounge- sitting - tea area. I really liked all the little alleys and mews encountered in the area while walking around. We booked at a discount rate and I kind of got the impression we were not in their mainstay accommodations? Ground floor? If you are inclined to bargain hunt the early morning (6:15 am) transit to airport on the tube was seamless - straight to terminal 5. About 4.9 pounds each. Just had to get up on time and schlep your own bag. About 100 yards total.

Credit cards seem to work on almost all transactions. Really got by with minimal cash. My wife is hooked on the apple pie & custard dessert featured in most pubs. So am I for that matter. Prices seemed comparable to Manhattan +/- 10%.

Very nice hotel in a prime location!
The Flemings Mayfair Hotel London is located directly next to Green Park, so it's easy to explore the city even by foot. The staff were super friendly and the maid even came in to prepare the bed for the night while we were gone. The room was decoreted very nicely, although it might be a bit too small for a longer stay. All in all just a great experience and we definetly want to come back again.

Friendly staff, very service-oriented, lovely lounge area, comfortable room, probably best stay I've had in London. Location is perfect -- central to everything you would want to see and do in the city. Little things would happen like the wifi being choppy a day here and there, not receiving the paper every day or the room not being cleaned to absolute perfection but if you let the staff know they honestly take care of you right away. Would not hesitate to stay again.

Excellent Location
I loved my stay at the Mayfair. I traveled to London for a week on business (with a bit of time for sightseeing), and this hotel was in the perfect location. It was an easy walk to shopping in Mayfair, excellent restaurants, Hyde Park and Green Park, and touristy sites like Buckingham Palace and Big Ben. The staff was extremely friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. The fish and chips in the restaurant downstairs weren't bad either :)

Check out Burger and Lobster just around the corner. They serve 3 items - whole lobster, lobster roll, or a burger. I had the lobster roll, hands down the best lobster I've ever had! The place is always packed though so go earlier in the evening (like 6PM), by the time 7PM rolls around the wait is usually over an hour and half.

Wonderful location
We were pleasantly surprised to see what a spectacular location the hotel was in relation to everything and anything we wanted to see and do. The staff was helpful with any request as well!

We really enjoyed the Flemings Mayfair. The rooms are small by US standards, but quite nice and certainly appropriate by European standards. The staff is exceptional! They make every effort to personalize the experience. The location is wonderful as it is just a short walk to Green Park subway station. We loved staying at this boutique hotel. We would definitely go back!

Lovely small hotel
Lovely hotel in a great location with Green Park tube in close proximity & Green Park at the end of the street. Very handy for the Royal Academy & theatres. Staff very helpful. Good value Room was very small for a double room with limited storage space

Enjoyed breakfast at the Only Running Footman in Charles Street. Also had breakfast at Fortnum & Mason on Piccadilly. The Fountain Restaurant opens at 7am.
