Hidden Gem
The neighborhood wasn't too bad, but if you walk toward the Kilburn area, it gets better. Granted, there was a lot of construction going on while we were there. It is NOT a short walk from the tube station, even though we did walk to the tube a few times. It is good exercise and if you aren't alone, it is actually enjoyable. Took about 15 minutes or so to get there. In the evenings we took a mini cab to the hotel as it seemed to far to walk at night (being ladies). The staff was WONDERFUL! Very friendly and engaging. I felt very taken care of. For international travelers, they will provide you with a converter for your electronics if you don't have one available. They also switched my room for me with no trouble, because I wasn't satisfied with "the view". There is a pub right downstairs so no need to always go out and party and you can safely get to your room. LOL! It really is beautiful on the inside and I consider it to be a gem among the rough. I enjoyed my stay and I would stay again and recommend. Good price, good hotel, good staff.

Great place to stay with a teenager
The location is tops as there is a bus-stop outside the hotel with every bus going to the underground station 5 minutes away. Having an indoor pool with a teenager was amazing. The staff were very friendly and obliging but the information they gave out was not always accurate and they did not understand requests properly as English is not their mother tongue. I would definitely stay there again.

We enjoyed the stay, It was the weekend of the Jubilee and I didn't fancy the City Centre prices and Cricklewood isn't that far out. The hotel encompases the next door pub, which meant we didn't have to travel far for a pint and the pub also did good grub. There were lots of fast food and restaurants places nearby and the Tube was about 300 mts away. There were no biscuits in the room so bring your own. The breakfast was very good and the staff were excellent. Altogether a hotel I may return to.

Wunderschönes Hotel
Wir waren für 4 Nächte im Crown Moran Hotel untergebracht in einem 3 Bett Zimmer - 1 Doppelbett und 1 Einzelbett. Das Zimmer war wirklich sehr groß und sehr sauber, die Betten waren schön hart und das Bad war auch wirklich sehr ansprechend. Der einzige Nachteil war, dass wir kein Fenster ins Freie hatten, sondern nur eine beleuchtete Glasscheibe. War natürlich beim Aufwachen etwas komisch, weil man nicht wusste ob es noch Nacht oder doch schon in der Früh ist. Wir haben ohne Frühstück gebucht, es gibt aber im Hotel ein Restaurant wo man frühstücken kann. Kostet pro Person ca. 10 Pfund. Gleich gegenüber ist aber eine wunderbare Bäckerei, bei der wir immer gefrühstückt haben (Kakao, Kaffee und tolle Kuchen, Torten, Bagels etc.). Die Umgebung des Hotels ist leider nicht so ansprechend, es gibt schönere Stadtteile in London. Aber es ist trotzdem sehr gut zu erreichen. U-Bahn Station Kilburn und dann fahren mind. 4 Linien beim Hotel vorbei und die Haltestelle ist gleich vor dem Eingang. Mit der Oyster-Card geht das perfekt. Zu Fuß braucht man ca. 10 Minuten von der U-Bahn zum Hotel, also auch nicht so schlimm. Was uns noch sehr gut gefallen hat, waren die vielen kleinen Geschäfte rund ums Hotel, da bekommt man wirklich alles vom Wasser, über Obst bis zu engl. Zwischensteckern. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder hinfahren !

Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis!
Insgesamt waren wir sehr zufrieden. Das Haus entsprach nach unserem Geschmack vollstens dem 4-Sterne-Status. Zusätzlich ist ein sehr schöne historische Gasthaus "The Crown" angeschlossen. Frühstück standardentsprechend auch sehr gut. Einen Punktabzug gibt es leider für das gewöhnungsbedürftige fensterlose Zimmer im Untergeschoss neben dem Fitnessraum, wo es kein Tageslicht sowie einen Abend eine deutliche Lärmbelästigung bis zur Schliessung um 22 Uhr gab. Aufgrund von Wetter und Jahreszeit kein Problem, im Sommer hätten wir das Zimmer reklamiert.
