Had stayed here 2 years ago, and was pleased to see the updated lobby and breakfast area. Front desk staff was excellent; worked with us to find transportation out to Gatwick. The breakfast is a real added value! I would definitely stay here again.

The Uncomfort Inn
First off, staff was marginally friendly. They appeared to hate their job. The beds were like bricks, the pillows way too soft. The cleaning staff didn't clean very well. Dust everywhere in the bathroom: on the Kleenex box, the back of the tub. All they did was change the towels and make the bed. Then on the last night out toilet overflowed and they couldn't do anything about it because it was after 8:00 p.m. They didn't offer us more towels to replace the ones we used to wipe the floor, they don't own a plunger, which would have fixed it, and they didn't offer/have another room to put us in. All they could say was : "Sorry for the inconvenience." I would NEVER stay there again or any other Comfort Inn

Long walk from hotel
Besides staying at another place, take the underground to see the theatre. A wonderful experience. If you like Indian food, The Maharajah of India on Charing Cross Road has great food

Excellent location, hotel could be better
The location for this hotel is excellent, right across from Victoria Station. The hotel is average, the room is clean enough BUT the bathroom smelled awful, it wasnt dirty... just that terrible smell... Fortunately, we were not in the room for the whole day... Hopefully something could be done in order to get that sewer smell out of there.

Horribly small room
The hotel was close to the Victoria Station, but it was very cramped. We booked a room for 3 adults and 1 child. The room would have be small for two people. We had a full sized bed with 2 roll a ways crammed in. We could hardly move! I was expecting a small room, but this was unacceptable. The hotel was VERY pricey for what we got.

Great location
We went to London to see the musical Wicked. The hotel is a short walk down the street from the theater and across the street fom Victoria Station. Breakfast was more plentiful than some hotels we have stayed in. Overall a very enjoyable experience.

Not great
Really uncomfortable bed with broken matress springs. Bed smelt unwashed. Woken up at 1am by loud upstairs residents, complained about it as kids woke up. Breakfast was basic but okay. Good locatipn but Wouldn't stay there again.

Great Location and Great Price
The hotel was located in a perfect location for our stay. Two blocks away from the Victoria Station, you could easily get access via metro (or tube as they call it over there) train or bus to anywhere in the city. It was located about 10-15 mins walking distance from the Buckingham Palace. Restaurants, cafes and shops were very near the hotel. About 2 blocks from it, there is a street that had a supermarket, and restaurants from Indian and Brazilian to Mexican and French. Beautiful location with lots of access to amenities. Wireless internet as well as the breakfast were free and great. The room was a bit small for 3 full grown adults; however we barely spent any time in the hotel as we were out all the time on the 5 days of our stay. I would highly recommend it, for price, location, comfort and amenities

Affordable, practical spot.
The lights were out over my bathroom sink - but they fixed them the next morning. At the price of $150/night all-in, it was a find to have my own bathroom with working shower, a decent breakfast, within a few blocks of Victoria Station and across the street from a tavern.
