Great weekend bolt hole!
Ideal location for our weekend - we did Tate Britain and The Museum of London. The Hotel was brilliant - nice big room, very comfy bed, clean bathroom, with a small kitchen (with microwave and fridge) with everything in place if you wanted to nip over to M&S across the road and eat in. Staff very welcoming, oh, and a pub next door with a good menu. Highly reccommended, we will be back...

Perfect location for meetings
This was a perfect location for my meetings in London's business district. It is across the stree from Leadenhall Market - which is convenient for shopping, pub, restaurant and last minute hair appointment. It is in between 2 underground stops (Bank and Monument) so it is also convenient for visiting the tourist sections of London when not working. This lobby always had snacks and beverages - very comfortable!

Time-saving tip:
Short walk from hotel
If you have to work in London, this is a great location with shopping (Marks & Spencer + other shops), restaurants (quick and healthy, pubs, full courses) within a block or two, and subways to get to tourist locations also within a couple blocks' walk.

Overnight stay in London for business
Easy check in. Room perfectly acceptable. Door key operates lift so hopefully improves security. Good night's sleep. Missed not having a proper breakfast facility in the hotel. Check out simple too. They could not give me a VAT invoice as I had pre-paid via Eb00kers. Not a problem anywhere else I have stayed so a bit odd. Easy to get a taxi. Close to many tube stations. Taxi driver found it easily. I wanted to stay in St Pauls Club Quarters but it was full. It is quite pricey for what it is but when some of the other chains charge double in London compared to provinces, it's not so bad.

very nice for our purpoise
We upgraded to a suite. I was told all suites were the same. However, the one we ended up with was not the sames as I had been shown. We checked out and were to be picked up to be driven to the airport the morning of the Olympic Marathon. We were not told of this and had to walk almost 1/2 mile to meet our ride to the airport.

Cozy, Elegant, enjoyable
We were there for just one night but everithing was perfect. The staff was nice, there's a free broadband internet service, free newspapers, cofee, tea. There's a nice pub just aside the hotel. It's just 10 minutes walking from the liverpool station, where you get there when arriving from statnsted airport.

Good value and location
Close to Bank station with several tube lines, it is easy to get to the rest of London. Weekend stay is a good value in this business district hotel. A short walk to St Paul cathedral, Tower of London and bridges to the south of Thames. Elevator wait could take a while. Check-ins and outs are quick.

Excellent Value
Despite being a bit out of the way, it was close to main line and underground stations and was perfect for our needs and we would definitely return. Excellent value for money.

I absolutely loved this hotel.
I absolutely loved this hotel. Terrific value for money. Lovely, polite, helpful staff. First rate room, comfortable bed, etc. etc. and at a very affordable price. Was particularly delighted to find I could book a smoking room. How civilised! It meant I could enjoy the facilities rather than just sleep there. Would definately visit again. And soon, I hope.
