Everything guests need while staying near the Tower Bridge
Centrally located and extremely convenient, the Apex City of London Hotel offers guests contemporary yet luxurious style. When visiting London on business, guests are in the perfect location, as the hotel stands within the heart of London's business and financial districts. However, as a family traveling with children, guests are not disappointed since numerous dining, entertainments, and shopping venues are all located near the Apex City of London Hotel. One way or the other, there are no disappointments for guests of this facility.

- We are on the doorstep of Tower Bridge and the Tower of London. We are near the gigantic O2 arena. We're not much further from the bustle and boutiques of the West End. London city hotels have never been this good.

- Apex City of London hotel is near Tower Bridge and the Tower of London. We're close to the heart of the financial and business district, which means we're surrounded by London landmarks, including St Paul's Cathedral, the Bank of England and the Swiss Re Building, better known as The Gherkin. Getting here by mainline or underground train couldn't be easier. Tower Hill and Aldgate are the closest London Underground stations to the hotel. Get out at either one of these stops and we're only a short walk away. Fenchurch Street Station is the nearest mainline station to us. Once again, it is only a few minutes by foot to our door. Tower Gateway is the closest Docklands Light Railway stop to the hotel. Across the road from Tower Hill tube station, it is well within walking distance of the hotel.

- The Apex City of London Hotel, based in the financial district of London just minutes from Tower Hill underground station and close to London City Airport - the perfect place to do business! There are three rooms in the conference centre, chic and stylish with light reflective black glass table tops and they all come with an impressive range of facilities; TV and video, projector, flipchart, fax and phone, wi-fi internet access, ice-cold drinks fridge, complimentary fresh fruit platter and snacks. The City suite is the largest of the meeting rooms, holding up to 80 delegates. It's perfect for theatre-style presentations, announcements and press conferences, receptions and private meals and banquets. The Geneva and New York rooms are perfect as breakout rooms or for theatre-style sessions for up to 40. The New York room opens on to a private courtyard.

good location
The only great thing was the location. The hotel is OK...but I was expecting more for a 4 star hotel. Standard rooms are not so big, the breakfast could be better. Not sure if I will come back to this hotel.

Great location and staff!!
This hotel was extremely clean and modern. Staff was extremely attentive. Free wifi, coffee, tea, biscuits, and bottled sparkling and still water daily! Perfect location about 1 min walking from tower hill tube, Tower of London and tower bridge. Loved it!

very nice hotel
very close to tube station (s) and very convienent to all kinds of restaurants and bars. All the hotel employees were lovely and helpful.

lovely hotel at a good price
Lovely room and lovely staff. Can't fault the room. We stayed in a standard double which was very nice, plenty of room and storage. Bathroom really nice large walk in shower, very clean. Location really good in the day only a couple of minutes walk from the tube. A little lacking in the evening as the small selection of bars in the area all seemed to close by 10pm - even on a Saturday night, so be prepared to travel if you want to go out in the evening. Did not have the breakfast but did have a drink in the bar which was unfortunately heavily priced but I suppose that's fairly usual in a large hotel chain. All in all we had a fab weekend and paid what I considered to be a very reasonable price for a hotel of this standard. Would definitely stay again

Second stay at the Apex
I have stayed at the Apex twice over the last two years. The hotel itself is beautiful and well taken care of, as well as very clean. I am always welcomed with a smile and the staff are top notch. The location of the Apex in relation to the underground is perfect. It is as far as I am concerned one of the most beautiful areas of London. I will stay here again.

When buying an oyster card for the underground do not buy a visitor oyster card. Buy one from the machines at the entrance to the undergrounds. Each time you top off the visitor oyster card you will be charged 2£. This fee does not apply to the resident oyster cards. Also do not take the paddington express I takes about 10 minutes less then the regular train but is abou 20usd more.

Wonderful stay
Really impressed with this hotel considering the price. We were upgraded on arrival which was a wonderful start to our stay. The rooms were clean and well equipped; lovely touches to make the stay comfortable including dressing gown and slippers and everything you would need for a night away. Staff were friendly and polite.
