VFM!
Having spent £47 it was quite possibly the best bargain ever. I was hoping to change to a twin or upgrade to a suite but they had neither so my friend and I shared a double which crept away from the wall a little when we sat & laid on it but apart from that everything was tip top and the receptionist (Rani) was really friendly.

Handy place to stay
Friendly reception staff, nice clean room with views over the river. No 'noisy neighbours' during the night and a good breakfast. Walk a few minutes one way to the waterfront or a few minutes the other and you're in the city centre. A good place to stay.

We have stayed at much better hotels in Liverpool ,this was recommended but wouldn't stay again.
Location was good, hotel looked like it needed updating, we went for a drink at the uv bar at hotel we had to walk away as they didn't have the drink either of us wanted, also they must have painted the bar doors that evening you couldn't have sat there with the fumes from paint. We decided to have breakfast in our room but realised that couldn't be done as there was no table and only one chair.

Ask for a room where they have windows that have openings? But I don't think any of the windows in the building do have.

Fantastic weekend in Liverpool
We arrived at the hotel much earlier than the check in time as we were travelling by ferry from the Isle of Man. Met on reception by very friendly staff and our room was ready so we were able to check in there and then. Room was lovely clean and had hairdryer, iron, tea coffee etc. Close to town centre only a few minutes walk. Only downside was being woken early on Sunday morning by church bells ringing which went on for at least half an hour but this is not the hotels fault.

Great central location to tour Liverpool
Right beside the docks, lots to do for all ages. We were very fortunate with the weather. Only £3.60 taxi to Lime St Station. We would definitely go back to the Atlantic Tower.

Tremendously Average
My wife and I traveled to England to visit her family over the Christmas holiday. Within our 14 day visit, we booked a hotel in Liverpool for a special night out for just the two of us as we figured we would need a break from staying at my mother-in-law’s house as its usually quite a busy place and the bed usually hurts our backs. We planned on seeing a show at the Royal Court Theater in Liverpool anyhow and decided if we found a reasonably priced hotel, we would book it. We wanted to find a hotel that was reasonably priced, but also within a walkable location to the main attractions- Albert Docks, Liverpool 1 and of course, the Theater. After doing some research online, we came across Atlantic Tower Hotel. In other reviews, we had read that it had received an overall 4.7 Stars by consumers for great location, good price point, and clean room. At the price we were offered the room, it seemed like a great deal, so we opted to book a room at this hotel. Once we arrived at this hotel, we were greeted by friendly staff. You could tell the hotel was a little bit older, but it seemed to be well maintained. When we checked in, we were told our room was on the 10th floor. When we found our room, we noticed it was a bit smaller than other rooms we had stayed in, but the bed was inviting, things were clean and the room- even with natural lighting- was well lit even though our room overlooked an office building. We put our stuff away and ventured into the city for the evening. It wasn’t until we got back in from the show that we really spent any time in the room. When we got back to the hotel, the overall place was pretty quiet. We took the elevator to our room and sat down on the bed. At this point, it was 10pm. Upon settling in, we realized we had some noisy neighbors. At first it was no big deal as we figured they would settle in as well, but whereas the walls were paper thin, we heard EVERY conversation they had, every door slam, every time the toilet flushed or brushed their teeth (which seemed to be very often). After a hot shower, we settled into bed. This was immediately disappointing as the bed was very uncomfortable…like worse than the one we’ve been staying on. Additionally, it was two twin beds that had been put together and there was a huge lump in the middle of the bed where the mattresses met. We made it through the night, until 7am when housekeeping started to deliver breakfasts to other guests and cleaning rooms. The housekeepers were hardly quiet complaining about other guests in other rooms. They were in the hallways banging around, yelling to each other and began vacuuming as early as 8am. Even if the bed was comfortable, this made sleeping in impossible. When we went to check out, the staff assisting us didnt seem to care whatsoever not even asking how are stay was, or even using basic courtesy to thank us for staying or wish us a good day. Long story short, if we wanted to sleep on an uncomfortable bed and be woken up at 7am, we would’ve saved the money and made the trek back across the river to my mother in laws. Aside from the location and the nice front desk staff at check in, be prepared for medicocracy at its finest.
