Heart of Edinburgh

The hotel location, literally in the shadow of Edinburgh Castle, couldn't be more convenient. It is within ten minutes walking distance of most of the key tourist sites in central Edinburgh and it's own neighbourhood is filled with interesting stores and restaurants. The room was surprisingly spacious, well outfitted and very quiet. It compared very favourably to Hilton and Holiday Inn hotels in which I've stayed in Scotland.

Great location

Great location near Edinburgh's major attractions including the castle. Rooms and parking area are small, but that's ok in a walkable city where time should be spent outside. Room was clean and modern. Free WiFi very helpful.

Perfect Location, Great place for value

I was only staying for one night so I wanted the best experience I can get. This place is in the heart of grass market. I really loved the fact the castle was so close. Everything looked very new and modern. It was very quiet at night.

great location

The Apex City is in just a perfect location for visiting the cities attractions. On the bus route of one of the city tours, within easy walking distance of the main shops and museums, full of history and eating places yet no traffic noise to disturb a good nights rest. Staff very friendly and helpful. I have no hesitation in recommending a stay at this hotel.

Excellent Location!

The Apex City is located very close to Edinburgh castle, delicious restaurants, the royal mile (shopping) and Edinburgh University - these locations were ideal for my stay. I was there for 4 days attending a conference at Edinburgh University and wanted to see some local sights.
