Cozy yet vast, traditional yet modern
The Room Mate Laura, resting in the Descalzas district, prides itself on having a modern outlook. Rather than providing a restaurant, the rooms all come complete with their own kitchen. Some of the finest restaurants in the country surround the building, which makes finding somewhere good to eat an easy process. New favorite hotel
Really liked this place, location was perfect, just off of Playa del Sol, incredibly easy to get to off the Metro. Lobby didn't make a great first impression, sort of funky modernista european with staff behind what looks like control room, but loved everything else. Bed was probably the most comfortable of all the places I stayed in Spain, room was spacious, nice bathroom, very cute balcony. Would definitely stay here again.

Good location
Good, central location. The loft room was spacious but cold, in temperature. The air con units only provided cooling, not heat. The continental breakfast was simple but satisfying. And wonderful that they had such expansive breakfast hours.

Great Location!!
Different and unique hotel. Bigger rooms than usual for Europe. The front desk was most helpful and very friendly. Suggested great restaurants and made reservations for us. Location was great as we were able to walk to everything we wanted to do. Street noise really wasn't a problem for us. Enjoyed the hotel breakfast. The bathroom had a very bad moldy smell. We paid for a deluxe room with kitchen but did not get that. Didn't realize it until the day we left that we were supposed to be in a deluxe room. So be sure to get what you pay for!

Ultra hip hotel in excellent location
We were upgraded to a "duplex" which had a loft with an extra bed/futon and small desk upstairs. Very cool design and nice amenities. We paid $127 and that included breakfast for 2 people. Minutes from shopping, royal palace, and Santo Domingo metro station. Would stay here again and will also look for smae brand of hotels in other cities for future trips.

Most small shops and bars do not take credit cards. There are plenty of ATMs throughout the city for getting cash. Bring 10 Euros if possible to get started on the metro. For some reason none of our credit cards or ATM cards worked in the metro ticket machines at the airport. We ended up with 46 Euros in coins after using a 50 Euro bill!

Sehr laut
Die Lage ist sehr gut, jedoch empfehle ich nicht das Fenster während der Nacht offen zu halten, da man sonst fast kein Auge zukriegt.

Gute, zentrale Lage
Zentral gelegenes, modernes Hotel. 5 Gehminuten vom Zentrum (Sol) entfernt. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuss erreichbar. Im Zimmer war eine kleine Küche vorhanden. Gutes, durchschnittliches Frühstücksbuffet. Saubere, ansprechende Zimmer.

Bad sleep/ mauvais dodo, mais c'est beau
La situation et le personnel sont top, la déco super réussie, juste un bémol, le lit pour dormir est atroce: dur avec des ressorts, c'est une torture, mais quel dommage sinon c'était parfait. Notre chambre 108 en dupleix donne sur un petit café qui range ses tables vers 3h du mat, mais la deuxième nuit on est rodé pour ça. Le monastère juste a côté vaut la visite ainsi que le marché San miguel pour ses soirées tapas. C'est super central et tellement joli.

situacion inmejorable, un poco
situacion inmejorable, un poco escondido para encontrarlo pero una vez alli te das cuenta de q estas EN EL MISMISIMO CENTRO. El desayuno variado y muy rico (no hay platos calientes, bueno si, tostadas!), suficiente para empezar el dia a tope...las habitaciones muy bien, aunq solo tiene una tv, y esta arriba, con lo que si quieres verla en el sofa tienes q bajarla...(escaleras muy en pendiente)
