Great location, very friendly
We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights. We asked for a quiet room. The room was average size and was in an interior court, so very quiet. Hotel is 2 minutes from Gran Via metro stop and well located. Vanessa at the Front desk is charming and very helpful.

Great Experience in Madrid
Although the location of the hotel was down a narrow street and in the midst of a young atmosphere ( nightclub right next door), the hotel itself felt safe and stood out as one of the better buildings in the area. Security and the ability to get into the place 24/7 was the main attraction. We also wre treated with great English speaking staff all weekend. My wife and I took in several late night shows and walking outings and we never felt like we were in danger. The hotel was a block away from the Gran Via ( the main ave) and, as metioned, we walked from the hotel to everywhere we wanted to go. A very large room for Europe and a very nice Queen sized bed awaited us in our suite. The bathroom and the lighting were top notch and the A/C wasn't loud at all. I'm a light sleeper and I slept like a baby. The nightclub next door, although load on the street wasn't heard at all in the room. The bar in the lobby had a small menu and ordering tapas was very fast and delicious. We did not purchase the breakfast ( not included) and there was no referigerator in the room but Starbucks and a few cafe's were right around the corner. All in all it was a very wonderful experience. We would definately recommend this hotel to our friends!

Dining tip:
Short walk from hotel
Most places were open until 1 in the morning. Heading up the Gran Via toward the Funte de Cirble we stopped into a pizza place that was open 24 hours. Great pizza and they poured Guiness! Bonus! Also, if you are in for tapas, walk through Plaza de Sol toward Plaza Mayor and you will find several cafes that serve tapas and paella. Prices weren't to bad but the food was very nice. Lastly, on our night excursion, we hit a hotel cafe next to the Puerta de Alcala and enjoyed the best Sangria I've ever had. Worth the price ( 7 euros a glass)

Weekend in Spain
I have stayed at many hotels throughout Madrid but this by far was the best for an independent chain. Location was in the heart of everything, just a short walk to Gran Via station. The only downside was the hotel key and keychain were obnioxiously large. It barely fit into my cargo short pocket. I think the front desk would have held the key while I was out but I never asked.

wonderful
The location was great- Gran Via metro station was right around the corner which was awesome. Everything is fairly easy to get to if you use the metro, and taxis at night are reasonably priced. The front desk staff were wonderful, very helpful with any questions we had, and spoke English well, which was helpful considering my high school level of Spanish.

Nice Hotel
Not a 4 star hotel, but very comfortable. Staff was helpful, even in english (my spanish is terrible). Very close to GranVia, close to historical Madrid, and a Metro stop is at the end of the street. Great location...
