The hotel also offers a comfortable meeting room which will accommodate up to 30 guests.
There is parking very close to the Best Western Hotel Trafalgar with a discount for guests.

This is a great little hotel. The location is perfect. You are not right in the heart of the tourist district but you can get there in 5 or 10 minutes on the subway. When you go out to the restaurants (and there are many to choose from) you are eating with locals and the prices reflect that. The rooms are small but very functional and very clean. The staff is curteous and professional. I did not get the breakfast option so I have no comment there but I did eat lunch once and dinner once at the hotel restaurant and the food was reasonably priced and actually quite good. Any service or need you have can be found with in a 5 or 10 minute walk from the hotel. I paid about $85.00 U.S. a night through and, when you consider you are staying in a European capital city, I would consider that a very good price. So if you are looking for a nice clean economically priced hotel in Madrid you should definitely consider the Best Western Trafalgar.

Short walk from hotel
Just a 1 or 2 minute walk from the hotel there is a bar/restaurant called El Brillante: very Spanish with a huge selection of sandwiches on hard crusted bread. They also have soups, seafood dishes and a full bar. I don't know their exact hours but they open very early and close very late. It's a casual place and reasonably priced.

Buy a pastry at a nearby bakery the day before you leave and then order room service for free coffee the next morning to get a quick start on your day.

Good Value for the Money
The hotel was clean with small rooms and updated bathrooms. Breakfast was a nice choice of options and staff was friendly. It is a 15 minute walk to Gran Via via Funnercal or good metro access. Little shops and cafes for daily needs around hotel with a nice neighborhood feel to the area.

Long walk from hotel
Buy the Madrid 2/3 day card if you'll be there a couple of days and plan your stops ahead to maximize the free entries to attractions. Runs every 15 mins. or so and goes til 9 pm.

very best for the price
Great welcome, Orbitz reservation has been well processed. Room was super clean. Great location in the center of Madrid, walking distance to two metro lines. For the price, it is hard, if not impossible, to find better !
